Just a nugget and a serpent mini. They make a great pair and quite inexpensive.

Thanks, checked it out, its only 1100mAh and 50w :(
Looks really cool thought
Yes, 1100mah. I used to use it with a goblin mini v2 but the battery life was obviously aweful around 40w on a .3 ohm build. I run the serpent mini with a nichrome single coil at 22-25 watts on a 1 ohm build and get quite awhile out of the battery.

There's still something satisfying about making it though. I remember the first time I decided "hey, the drill is out on the counter anyway, let's give a twisted a try". Made it and it came out beautifully. Felt great! Never used it and it's still in my coil building box as I only use single coil >1 ohm setups.

But it was cool watching the wires spin on each other.
Try twisting 30 or 32. The wife has a twisted 30g in her stm and its like 1.2ohms

:offtopic:My first try at a fused clapton using 2, 28awg twisted and 26awg ribbon .It is hard to see the scale but it is not to low a awg I think? I will try it on my smok TF (RDTA) .:oops:View attachment 576941 View attachment 576943 View attachment 576945
Ive never actually watch how they do the fused claptons. But I did try it last night and quickly stopped and just used a standard one. I gotta see how they do it. I do not have and swivels to hold the other end of the wire so it can be a little hard to do.

Any idea how they keep the two inner wires from twisting while your wrapping the outer one?

YouTube is the new source of all DIY knowledge worldwide. Even the ones not in English can be useful to watch just for the technique. Some nice wire braiding/spinning/fancy stuff videos to drool over.

Totally OT: Also great to watch for mauls for your wood splitting needs. Really cool stuff coming out of Finland right now.

I have been thinking about getting one of those Goons. How are you liking it?

I was a little wary at first but it's cut my prep time in half with those clamps and it hits really well off claptons

The clamp style posts are really easy

Thanks Zayn. I like that clamp style idea. Seems like it would last longer then other types. Nice meaty screws too.

The metal
Is gold plated brass or copper I guess makes it really soft and kinda bendy, and yeah those screws are long too so you can get thicker wire in there without worrying about them coming out. I just unscrew the clamps pop the head upside down, line up the coil, tighten, cut, repeat. Instead of 10 minutes fussing with the post holes alone I spend 5 minutes putting I fresh coils and wicking them both. Fat fingers love this deck haha.

Thanks Zayn, I'm sold. I've been waiting for Vape NW to re-stock them.

The tanks look so big on top of the Nuggets.:)

Yeah, I'm afraid almost anything will look huge on the Nugget, haha.

I bought a black Serpent mini to compliment the black Nugget but I could not stand the heat coming from it. I literally burned my taste buds with it twice and it took two days each time before my taste came back again so I had to retire it unfortunately. I don't really understand why though, I initially thought the vapor path was just too short but after closer inspection it is pretty similar to the Bachelor Nano which I don't have those problems with

The Bachelor Nano including the drip tip is exactly the same height as a Nugget btw.

It looks like the Bachelor nano has a longer, narrower drip tip compared to the serpent mini. Did you try a different drip tip on the mini to see if that improved things?

Yeah, my fav driptip is the one that comes with the optional MTL kit for the Nano and that's all I use and what I used testing the SM as well.

Thanks for the input though
