Replaced the SX350j board ($25) in the blue Boxer and the 510s with black Varitube V1s in both Boxers tonight. I hate soldering but I love it when my ....'s fixed :)

My iTaste with th3 white MT3 was delivered today. I'm pretty good on eGo's now. Time to save up for a mod (still haven't decided which one yet) and a mini nautilus. Then, I think, I'll be done buying tanks and batteries for a while so I can just stock up on coils and juices.

For what your needs are a Dna40 would be perfect and will last a very long time. Hana Modz has some great prices on some slightly imperfect models starting at 49 dollars. The blue one on the left for 59 would be best cause it has a adjustable 510 but the others for 49 are ok too.

And they have the One Mod starting at 15.99 which is a incredible price for a good device.

I really like those dual cell Boxers. The one with the removable skin and 26650 is pretty cool too.

My Serp Minis are quickly becoming my favorite RTA. Easy to build; easy to wick. I don't normally run with dual coils anyway, so these are :thumbs: for me {shuffling off to decide if I'm going to order any more....}

While it certainly won't compete with those for price, there is a DNA 60 coming out (well, is out somewhere) which is the same size as the prior 40, and offers all the eScribe bells and whistles too. For a low power user, it's a nice option for use in a small device.

I have a Dna60 sitting here on my desk. I will be installing it into one of my Hana's today :D It is a shame the whole FDA thing, we will not be seeing to many Dna60 devices for sale if any at all, it could all be a DIY thing.

edit: Evolv is making mods now and they offer a Dna60 for 150.00 bucks. I will probably get one in the next month or so. I forgot about that one.

first questions... what medium are you using? what wearability does it have? how perm do you want it?

both with the dragon and without are sexy, there's just something about burnished/stainless steel and dragons are either adorable or wicked.

the downside of the burnished/stainless is it needs to be coated, unless you are willing to let it get an aged patina(kind of a tarnished look). hands have oils and if anything it will show scuffs/oils glaringly, which means a lot of buffing... and scratches can be a nghtmare(i'm a klutz). i've been seriously contemplating taking the paint off mine period for the designs i've been playing with, but it would still need a clear protective coat anyhow. it is a nice clean look... also keep in mind, it will heat up as fast as anything painted black in the sun.

i love the tribal dragon on the white background, i'd go a pearlized coating on the white to give it shine and depth(mild 3d look to the dragon), and at least a few clear coat protections on the dragon to blend it in. raised paint chips faster.

I have a X TRACOLOR Acrylic Gloss clear varnish I use but vary fine and clear so lot of coat's. I use it on Oak wood veneer as i have to care for the piece.I can use it on the Nosiy cricket. and Snow Wolf. I myself like Gaelic knots being a scot.I think it'll look great round top and bottom of the Nosiy Cricket but Barbed wire may be more Appropiate as the ''N.S'' can sting.

i need to do some research, but a shellaq would be a harder and more durable finish... but one you'd be unlikely to remove again without a lot of pain... with my name i'd say knotwork. why not go all out and do a st andrews cross, or the lion rampant on a yellow field? hehehehe
