Thank you geekvape/digiflavor for bringing a quality, affordable mtl rta to market!
Especially one with a massive tank which you'll refill maybe once a week :)

Well loved their avocado, but this one is even better, flavor is awesome on it, just hope more stores carrying it by Black Friday, as already itching to buy more of them :)

I'm liking their Griffin 25 Plus right now. Not loving though. I don't make love to my vape hardware [emoji14]

I had it for a while and built it a few times but wasn't overly impressed with it. I was running all 90% VG at the time and it really didn't wick all that well even with the mesh feeder tubes removed. I dug it out again last week for S&G's, put a 24g SS316L 8 wrap in it and tried a new 70/30 juice I received from a local B&M to try out. Well the thinner juice worked much better than before and it is a decent little RTA again.

The airflow can be dialed down to MTL or opened for a RLH. It has a top fill, but without a JFC you need to be quick when you have the top off of it or it will flood. I find it much better to just invert it, unscrew the tank and fill like you do on the FeV.

I'd like to try an authentic with the open draw kit, but to me it's more of a tinker RTA than a daily driver.
I have always liked the look of that tank but never got one because of the feeding issues it had. Could you drill the feeder holes larger?

Possibly, there is a little ridge surrounding each feeder hole that you might have to remove.

Would take some dremel work for sure but looks like it could be done. I'd really be interested with a DL version is it a kit that can be bought or a separate RTA all together.

I never did modify the Aqua II base for improved airflow as the Tube RTA has the same size chimney threads. You need to replace the o-ring with a little thicker one for a good tank seal.

    Nice

It was allot of work I had to do to my Aqua to get it where my K5 is. The hardest part was removing material from the white plastic plug that is in there. I also did massage my K5 a little bit too. I found the air to be a little turbulent, not bad but enough to where it bothered me and a little noisy. So the K5 has two airholes per side for each setting. On the largest setting I opened on of holes on each side to 4mm. Then on the air control ring I opened them up from the inside so there is no restriction and smoothed everything out real good. You cannot tell from the outside anything was done but man is the airflow nice now.

Vapor Giant calls it an Open Draw Kit, I doubt it would fit the clones. Basically they turned the holes into a single cyclops hole.

Dremel skills of 9000+ would give you the same results on the stock base. ;)

Yeah, I took the base of my Aqua II apart, looked at it for a while, then put it back together and back in it's tin... ;)

    I still haven't picked up a K5 yet, I probably should. I don't remember if I asked you about a recommended version.

My clone is a SXK and it is identical from top to bottom to my authentic one, minus the Svomesto markings. I use the SXK more than the authentic cause I take it out of the house with me.

I will seek out an SXK on my next order then, thanks!

How is the new Cricket? I really like what they did only from reading about it. So you get a parallel or series mechanical or a Hexohm type device right?
