merlin's are notorious for leaking from the press fit seal. I bought 2 and mine started leaking within a month or so. It got thrown into the used tanks box and I haven't bothered with the spare.
That is one seriously fine looking mod!
Is there an RBA deck for the Kraken v2?
The VA Kraken v2 & v2.5 both accept the same Kanger RBAs as the SubTanks and TopTanks do (there are 3 different versions of that style RBA insert I believe). Likewise for Kanger pre-made OCC & SSOCC Coils.
@TrollDragon As Hitcat says. I've got a .2 factory OCC in there currently. I got frustrated with the RBA I used after I successfully fit a 3 core fused clapton in it and the base of the chimney kept touching the top of the coil and shorting it

I only build simple coils, maybe a triple twisted 28g every now and again so it might just work out for me.

The seepage has nothing to do with wicking, it seeps down the between the JFC ring and the base since it's press fit.
I do believe you will like it. & I'd go for the 2.5, unless you find a killer deal for v2. The 2.5 has the Kraken logo engraved in it where the v2 is just printed on (personal preference of course). Also, not sure about the airflow on 2.5, but the v2 whistles. Loudly. Def not a stealth tank!

I was wondering about the engrave/laser logo, thanks for the clarification. A possible whistle might be a problem though, I detest a tank that whistles.
