As to weird taste, only if you get a dry hit....those are worse. On my genny tanks I use SS wire and run temp control, and my mech is a squonker, so dry hits aren't an issue for me

I use wire mesh for my squonker.....can easily go a month with occasional dry burns, then pull it out, wash the mesh, put back in

Wire mesh? Do you mean SS mesh? I used mesh exclusively for 6 years, still haven't gotten used to cotton yet, which is partly why I have to have escribe & TC on all my mods. the other part is my ADD.

I did learn (slowly) that with SS wire and clean, properly broken in cotton, the flavor is almost as good.

What is it with me and Aromamizers? My first one took 10 days to travel 50 miles, and my second one, after 5 days of limbo, shows delivered and nothing's there. I hate USPS so much right now...

They are. Ohm out at about 1k. You need asbestos wick and 10 26650's in series to fire it.

Also, did yours come with those Ijoy 26650s that @Mooch is so enthusiastic about?
They're not carried by the major US based suppliers (RDT, IMR, etc) AFAIK.

It is cheap <$100... iJoy built so that tells you quite a bit about the quality. TC on it is quite janky/spooky with the latest V1.2 firmware. On the previous V1.1 firmware, iJoy figured they should limit the output power for user safety... Hopefully V1.3 if it ever comes out will fix the TC issue and provide a TCR option.

The battery sleeves have quite a bit of slop to them. I add 2 small layers of painters tape inside the sleeve at the top of each side, removes all the play.

The only thing iJoy about the 26650's is their name on the wrap, and they are excellent. More run time than my Hohm Growns.

I have the BFDFT on mine now. I had the Aromamizer Plus on it for quite a while, but it lives on the Cuboid currently.

For a cheap 30mm mod that works good in power mode, I quite like the LUX!!

It's a ZNA 40 I think. All I remember about mine was having to adjust the pin several times before you put a new atty on, and wobbling bc of the base not being level with the tube.
