I finally caved in and ordered the Drone. It was going to be either that or Rebel's dna 167. Been holding off on the Drone for months amidst reports of other users experiencing leaking from the 510 tubing. My order should arrive in a day or two; fingers crossed I won't regret the purchase.

The leak I found was from where the top plate screws onto the 510 connector. It's a two piece arrangement and one of my top plate screws was stripped from the factory. I put longer screws in the top plate to go past the stripped section of the hole. Now there is no leaking on mine as the top plate puts even pressure on the 510 connectors o-ring now. It's a really stupid design...
Also if the bottom catches don't stick out far enough to hold the battery door on tight, they can be pried out a little bit. The plastic is quite thick and will take a bit of bending, that is a do it at your own risk kind of thing. My battery door snaps on tight after a little adjustment, I've had my Drone completely apart when I was looking for the source of the leaking.
One of the guys in the Womper thread had a new Rebel that stopped working a few days in. I don't know if he ever contacted Evolv or was required to ship it back to the UK. It's a nice looking squonker, but a little to spendy IMHO.

It's funny, but she and I were looking at a mod yesterday, which is somewhat similar to yours (extraordinary design). We weren't looking at it to buy (not our style of vape), but very much to admire (much like yours in the latter area).
I'm a sucker for great metalwork. Very "Kato'esque", this one. I absolutely love the look of it.
And yeah, she can bling a thing, then make it sing. That's the extent of my Dr. Seuss energy this morning.

I've seen this on the Smoant site, and waiting for a reliable US vendor to stock it. Do you mind my asking where you picked it up? I can wait a while longer if I have to, have acquired quite a few new ones lately as it is.
I'm assuming the chipset on this is as good or better than the Charon TC?

Dual 3mm round 26 AWG Ni80 12 wrap setup at around .7 ohms on the unregulated series box pushing around 7.4 volts. It's toasty.

It's been a long old time since I've posted on here! I started getting real bored with all the hyped up how-low-can-you-go coils and huge overpowered cloud makers that I recently picked up a new Kayfun 5s.
What better to put it on then my original Caravela. I haven't used this thing in years and I'm so happy I've pulled it out of retirement!
Just waiting on the airflow reducer to get back to my old school flavour enjoyment...
