@DeloresRose , I've been putting them back in their tubes after after I am done using one or the other and after wiping them down. I think those tubes are perfect for keeping them nice and clean when not in use. And I am saving the boxes (you never know).
The Rosefinch tubes are kind of like those bank tubes and perfect for mech mods. ;)

Yep, I kept those too. I wonder if putting a little packet of silicone in there would help keep them from tarnishing? It seems to work for silver.

I was looking up info for both copper and brass cleaning again after dinner. I don't know about the silicone packet. Maybe try and see??? I'm thinking if we keep them clean with Brasso or Wright's Copper Cream that should do it.

If you are ever looking for long term storage there are jewelers packets that will keep them from tarnishing for up to 12 months. Bags: Search

This article has good cleaning tips from a jewelers perspective: https://www.riogrande.com/article?name=PreventingTarnish

An architectural digest article basically says to use Brasso or other similar cleaners.
How to Clean Brass Like a Pro

I seem to recall @Skunk! mentioned Bar Keepers Friend in a thread some time ago but I don't remember the thread or context.

Those packets from shoes that absorb moisture would probably do the trick. I polish my old ones every few months. Patina on copper and brass is actually a layer that protects the metal. It isn't corrosion. I have had mods turn green and blue and used brasso on them and they were good as new.

Barkeepers friend works well for cleaning heavy patina off. It doesn't leave a protective layer like polish will.
