The very first production Spyder GT has arrived in South Africa! What a beautiful mod! Nicholas Foo has hit it out of the park yet again! Comfortable and beautiful! I am over the moon with it! And it's a one of a kind because it's the only one that will have a Dicodes chipset! Bazinga! <3

I've been trying to wrap up another project as well. Melissa, a Strat-like guitar with a Wilkinson floating bridge, a pair of Dimarzio Gravity Storm pickups, Fender tuners...pics hopefully soon.

Before I can put strings on her, I need to take care of these small parts.

I'm really enjoying this setup. Broadside Brizo with a Serpent Elevate tank. With any luck, more guitar pics soon :)

Well, I came to drop this here, but after seeing Rob’s Spyder GT I guess we could all just pack up our toys and go home.
They're made by MM vapors in Greece.....460 euros plus add ons....i'll send you the website link if you like ;)

I'm thinking about it.....very, very classy piece of kit :wub:

You know my shiny heart is tempted, but it would be a little easier to jump if I hadn’t recently sprung for that Vicious Ant lol.

Yes, I know. I guess you have to decide which modder you like the most and go with them in the main :)

I know that Mr Fisher has several of them....the Thrill that is.

I love this....lovely piece of wood. You do some nice work there :)
Thank you very much. The body is sapele with a 1/4" spalted maple top. When I got it, it was pretty rough, the way I like it. Fresh off the CNC router. Not many people know what wood looks after just that step. I think I did a good job of shaping it, making it smooth, shiny, and bringing out the colors.

I can't take much credit for the neck, which is padauk with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. With exotic wood, It's actually less expensive for me to order a neck from someone like Warmoth. I paid less than $200 for it. I would pay more than that for a padauk neck blank, not even counting the Brazilian rosewood. Padauk is quite oily, and needs no finishing. It just gets smoother and slicker the more you play. I had them leave the frets off so I could polish the fretboard and do my own fretwork.

I know, TMI.
