That Russian is just a shinnin'
Haha, it is a shiny Russian. Yesterday I was going through my vape gear and came across an old Subtank mini with the rba deck and one of my Russian's. Old KFL's too. With all the new gear I tend to forget just how good some of the old stuff still is.

Also, It seems like I remember a backstory to that flowered vase behind most of your pix. (cool af) Care to repeat the story?
You must have seen my post and photos in the Shiny thread a while back. That flowered vase is a very rare Ransburg Hollyhocks cookie jar.

My wife and I bought and sold Ransburg pottery (stoneware), metalware (toleware) and glassware. We have customers all over the world. And not one piece has ever been damaged or lost in shipping. FedEx and DHL only.

The Ransburg Co. was based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Harper J. Ransburg started with hand decorated glassware (Glass of Class) sometime in the 1920's. In 1931 they added stoneware and a couple years later included metalware. So 1920's thru the early 70's. Ransburg products were pretty popular all across the nation back then. The flowers on each Ransburg piece (stoneware/metalware) were individually hand painted by a small group of artists.

Several of the very rare pieces we acquired have been sold back into the Ransburg family and estate. They've been scooping up mint and rare pieces for well over 25 years. They have plans to open a Ransburg museum.

In addition to Ransburg we also bought and sold antique Hull and Roseville pottery. When my wife died in 2018 I suspended the business. I do have a sizeable inventory that I'll start moving again eventually. I'm in no rush. And I still buy nice pieces when I come across them.

A few Ransburg items ^^^. There are many other types and styles of Ransburg pottery and metalware items besides those.
