I think my color is closer to this:

It looks a little duller though.

Based only on the mods that I own, I've found that the carokote finish on my Provari's is far more durable than the powder-coated paint finishes of my two AltSmoke mechanical mods.

My Provari's see far more attention from me than the two mechs. I've had both mech mods for 1.5 years, but since I got my first Provari they have been mostly collecting dust. Taking in consideration of the actual time all my mods have been in active daily use, the Provari's finish has held up better.

The mechs have a high gloss finish which have a few deeper scratches and nicks on them, and if you look close under brighter light, you can seen multiple fine scratches over the entire mod. My standard blue Provari is 14 months old, and only has two tiny nicks in its finish, and no signs of wear over the rest of its surface. My 8 month old black mini looks as pristine as the day I received it.

Well, yeah, but we want something purdy. I think you are rougher on yours than we will be. I wouldn't pimp the main one I use anyway.

Eureka!

These are the pictures I was looking for. If you go further forward/back you'll see other colors. I don't know what the finish is:

Okay, this one is powder coated. The guy's name is Nate Hughes (Osmo)

There are pictures of a mini he did and how he took the electronics out. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cosmetic-mods/405638-custom-red-provari-mini-2-5-a.html

ETAA: I'm probably wrong about the color I posted before.

ETAAA: I wonder what the tank is?

That ain't no Mini.

And yes, the first project will be a full v2.5.

I realize that now, but it's the same guy. I got the picture off of his imageshack account, he's done more than one.

He's still active on the forum (at least in the classys), so I just sent him a PM to see if he has any tips, tricks or problems we should know about.

Here's a link to his mini in translucent candy red.

an excuse to colour match my car to my provari!

LZ5W DENIM BLUE :2cool:
may as well get my ZAP color matched too.

what was the quote from a shop? all the shops that went to , dont want to mix paint for such a small job :(

My idea for that was to find out if the shop would mind if you contacted them weekly to see what projects they have lined up and if you liked the color see if they would slip it in.

This a full sized provari v2.5 that I did for a fellow member wingnut on here. I have down quite a few of them. Also The Ocelot I got your pm and will post some stuff on here in just a bit, have to finish up the honey-do list for the wife.
