I was thinking about that to save some cash, but didn't like this particular product. Looks like it's going to be 3D printed plastic, not sure how durable that would be. I couldn't find any other places that sell stuff like this, or good 510 connectors (sealed, spring loaded, plated)...

The plastic is fine quality.

You could also get a hammond box and use one of bap's faceplates.

You can get the standard for 510 connectors at fatdaddyvapes. They are spring loaded and the bees knees.
