The ProVari is a great piece of gear, I love mine but the chip just isn't designed for RBAs, it was made for cartos running from 1.5 ohms and up. Keep the resistance up on the RBAs and it is fine but if you want to run sub 1.2 ohm coils you need a different PV. Trying to teach a pig to sing just wastes your time and annoys the pig.

I don't understand the need for low ohm coils like that on the RBAs. I'm not being snarky. I really don't understand. I haven't used one before. If I vape at that high of watts/volts as you guys are speaking of everything tasted burnt. Is the SS mesh able to take more heat and not burn the liquid? I have really been thinking about trying the AGAT2.

Well stated Dana. I've been wondering the same thing. Most everything I vape starts scorching over 12w. I've just thought I was doing something wrong :)

I've posted on this as well. I purchased two AGA T2 rebuildable tanks with full intention of using them on my mechanical Silver Bullet. I wrapped sub 1 ohm coils and put them on the SB and wondered what all the fuss was about. Too harsh of vapor, flavors tasting burnt. I've always prefered a cooler vape, so I decided to try a higher ohm coil. 2.0 seems about right for me, and works on both the Silver Bullet and the Provari. I prefer using the Provari, because I can still adjust the voltage to the particular flavor I'm using.

As long as your getting enough juice to the coils it doesn't taste burnt. In fact it actually taste a lot better & cleaner. Watts don't seem to apply to rba's as long as you can supply sufficient wicking.

Not that I could handle it, but there's a video of a guy stacking to 18650's (8.4v) & using a .5ohm wrap. That's around 175 watts! That's crazy but really show how watts don't apply to rba's.
