I'm currently vaping an Elite 808. I love it. My only complaint is that the battery charge is still too short for me. But I still want a battery/carto combination that will fit in my pants pocket. Anything longer than the Elite will be too long. I've looked at the Igo and the Vgo. I'm having a hard time getting accurate measurements on them. I saw a review of the 650 mah Vgo, and it included a picture that showed it with common pocket items. It was very helpful. I know how long a Sharpie pen is, LOL. I wish I could find pictures of every battery/carto next to a Sharpie! However, it seems that the Vgo isn't regulated the way the Elite is? I found that my original 808, which was a Gen 1 and not regulated (I hope I have that right!) burned some of my cartos. And the gen 2 kit I got wouldn't work at all with the cartos designed for the Gen 1 battery. Is there anything out there that's similar to the Elite in that it truly works with all 808 cartos, has more mah than the Elite (which is 380 mah, I think I want at least 650) and will fit in my pants pocket?

Hi Cartmom. I kind of know what you mean about "too long" PV's. Just today I lost the tip off my iGo which I carry in my shirt pocket. It was the 1100 mah battery. I just ordered two 650 mah iGo batteries from D&B IGO KITS - D&B Gold so they will hopefully sit further down in my shirt pocket. I don't carry in the pockets of my jeans. I've also seen some 650 mah Riva types that are 808 808-eGo-battery, 650-900mAh - manual. These are of course fat bats but I don't know of any that are slim like the elite and would still have the mah we need. My wife has a Elite 808 and really likes it, her bats last her almost all day but she doesn't vape like I do.

Thanks for the suggestions Nedley. From what I've read, the IGO doesn't work with all 808 cartos, like the V4L cool carts. I have several of those. Of course, I could always use my Elite if I want to use that type of carto. I'm not sure why I was mentally eliminating the IGO or the VGO for that reason. I will still have my Elite, after all, and I don't use my V4L cartos when I'm going out for the day, which is primarily what I'm looking for a higher mah battery for. The 808 eGo batts look nice. I've never seen or heard of them before. I thought eGo was by definition a 510 battery. I don't see a charger for them though.

I'm not at all opposed to a fat bat. I'm just opposed to anything longer than the Elite because my PV has to fit in my pocket when I'm playing golf :2cool:

I love my 650 mah manual VGO. Very compact, about half the length of a Sharpie. With a V4L carto, it's about 2/3 the length of a Sharpie. Very pocket friendly, I would think. I can "stealth" it in my hand, and I have small hands.

Thanks, Kittypie! Sounds like it might be just what I'm looking for. Even with the 2-inch carto on it, it should fit in my pocket. Maybe Santa will bring me one :)

I too wish the Elite had a longer battery life. But I haven't tried/seen anything that tops The Elite. So ... I got one of these:

ELITE 808 PCC

I've always got a fully charged Elite ready to go.

Bob, doesn't that just solve the problem of not having a charged battery? I'm fine with two charged batteries for the day. I'm just trying to get away from having to change batteries when all I want to do is walk and vape. I don't want to have to stop, get the case out of my golf bag, get the spare battery out of the case, unscrew the carto, put the carto on the good battery, put the spent battery in the case, and put the case back in my golf bag. Yes, I'm that lazy, LOL. It's really not a matter of being lazy, it's a matter of convenience and avoiding the glares of other golfers who already think I'm the reason the course is backed up!

Well ... my other e-cig is a Go-go. Battery life is (for me) easily a couple of days. Add a 3 ml carto on top of that and you've got smoking/vaping security. It's fatter than the elite but about 1/4 inch shorter. I raved about it in my video:

My E-Cig Year in Review - YouTube

Happy hunting.

But I've got 73,824 KR808 cartos. Well, maybe it's more like 100. I washed 19 of them today. Do they have an 808 adapter for the GoGo? I've seen the 510 adapter, but not an 808. I really want to be able to use my 808 carto collection with whatever I end up getting. I can't find a vendor who's selling them. I found some threads here about them, but where are they?

I got my Go-go to KR808 adapter from CigEasy but it didn't work consistently on all my Go-go batteries. I think that's why CigEasy stopped carrying them.

I empathize with your situation. I started out with CigEasy's KR808 starter kit and always wanted more battery life. I wasn't dissatisfied with the vaping ... I just didn't want to be regularly surprised when the battery went blinky. I had great reservations about the Go-go ... until it arrived in the mail. What about all my KR808 cartos? After Go-going for one day I knew I'd only want more Go-carts. They were hands down better than any of my KR808 cartos. And lasted 3 times longer.

When The Elite came out I had reservations about it too. Until I tried it. The Elite edged out the Go-go slightly in the Throat Hit department. I started carrying an Elite and a Go-go in my pocket. I like to ping-pong between my favorite tobacco flavors.

I've experimented with a bunch of different e-cig types: eGo, Echo, Echo-e, and a Leo. None of them were as consistently satisfying as The Elite or the Go-go. They weren't bad ... The Leo is a great e-cig ... but The Elite and Go-go were just a tad better overall.

I've also tried couple of different types of tanks. First off ... when you're used to a 2ml Elite carto and the 3ml Go-cart it's hard to think of a 1ml carto as a "tank." CigEasy's Clear and Easy tank and the Clear and Easy Elite tank are pretty good. But they both are limited to 1ml of e-liquid. They perform well but I don't like to stop doing what I'm doing and refill that often.

So regardless of what I've tried ... I always return to The Elite and the Go-go. And I've pretty much stopped looking for The Holy Grail because I've got them in my pocket.

Here was my true test. Last summer we moved to Canada. I wasn't sure what e-cig supplies would be available to me so I was going to stock up big-time. The question was: What To Buy? Lot's of e-liquid. When it came to cartos I decided as much as I liked the Leo ... I wasn't going to invest in those 4ml giants. They performed at the Elite/Go-go level but they didn't clean up as well (I need battery and carto longevity). The eGo, Echo, and Echo-e were interesting but not enough to continue. I put 95% of my dough on Go-carts and Elite cartos. If all e-cig technological progress stopped today ... I'd be happily vaping these two PV's into the sunset.

I started vaping, like everybody else, to quit smoking. So initially I was trying to be an ex-smoker. I was an ex-smoker vaper. I haven't thought about cigarettes for a long time now. I don't think of myself as an ex-smoker. I'm a vaper now. I've got everything I need to fully enjoy my new habit that's become something of a hobby. There isn't anything "missing" so I'm not looking for anything.

But ...

I've still got half an eye out not for The Perfect PV, but rather The Perfected PV. Something that performs like a Go-go or The Elite, and lasts as long as The Go-go, but is the size of a Camel 100. And I expect it'll show up in 2 - 5 years. In the meantime ... as long as I've got The Elite and the Go-go ... I'm good to go.

As Frank at CigEasy would say, "Happy Vaping."

The igo is almost the exact same thing as a gogo but with a kr808 connection. I've used them both and had problems with both. I prefer the vgo which is smaller but seems better made.

I'm so confused! Every time I think I've decided which one to get, I read something else that convinces me I want to get a different one.

I've decided several times that I wanted the Vgo. It takes 808 cartos. I think the 650 mah would fit in my pocket. 650 mah should get me through a round of golf. But then again...

I've really been looking at the GoGo. More specifically, the GoGo Pro. It has the click on-off feature like the Elite, and what I really really like about it is the battery life indicator and the puff counter! How cool is that? And 1300 mah! I could use the battery all day and put it on the charger when I'm sleeping. Is there really a 1300 mah battery that will fit in my pocket?

At this rate, I'll never decide!

Hi Again,

The Go-go pro (with Go-cart) is 6.25 inches long. With a whistle tip it's about 7. The Go-go (with Go-cart) is about 5.25 inches long. I've got both because I'm a Go-go Maniac from Go-go Nation. My favorite Go-gos are the Pro and the Special Editions (colored ones). Cherry Jazz & Midnight Blues.

The Go-go lasts me about 2 1/2 days between charges. It is an incredible e-cig.

But ... The Elite is still in my pocket because every once in awhile I like a slightly stronger Throat Hit.

C'mon ... Join Go-go Nation. You'll fiddle less and vape better.

I've decided on the Go-Go. Bob, thanks for the measurements. I think the Go-Go Pro will be too long, I'm going with the regular Go-Go. Now to research the different vendors and decide which one to order from. Thanks for the help!

Catmom <- future citizen of Go-Go Nation!

And since this is, after all, still the KR808 subforum, I have to add that I still love my Elite and will be using it and my vast collection of 808 cartos at home. But I'll be on the golf course with the Go-Go :)

I've been a CigEasy customer pretty consistently since I started vaping. I've ordered from other vendors but always return to CigEasy for great product quality and customer support/service. I can't list all the times Frank or SSV2 have gone waaaaaay above and beyond in order to Make Thing Work.

Best Example:

I received my starter kit and put the charger in an unpowered USB. I didn't know that would kill the charger. The crippled charger would only charge the battery for about 10 minutes. That would get me 2 - 3 puffs before the battery died. Frank sent out a replacement charger faster than ASAP and I was able to use the passthrought until the mailman came. This isn't the sort of anxiety I needed in my first week of No Smoking.

CigEasy, I think, has always led the way for fiddle-free vaping ... hence ... CigEasy.

Thanks yet again, Bob! I ordered by of my Elite kits from CigEasy, so I'm familiar with their fast shipping. Never had any issues requiring customer service, but I did have a question that SSV2 answered very thoroughly.

Right now I'm reading through the User's Guide to the Gogo. 801 carts, huh? I'll look for some :)

Hahahahahaha!!! What size 808 r u using? I have faith in you - won't be too long and you'll have 100,000 cartos - rock on!! :D

Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration, LOL. I'm using an Elite 808. If you're not familiar with it, it's a 380 mah battery with it's own special cartos which hold 2 mL of juice. I have several (about 40, I think) of the Elite-specific cartos, and many more regular 808 cartos.

Are you absolutely dead set on a cigarette-like PV?
