VaporHead4Life - Thanks for starting this poll - this is most interesting to someone who is looking into getting off analogs! It doesn't seem like there are many on the forum that have been vaping longer than a year - at least that took part in the poll. That's kinda disappointing to me - there seems to be a lot of info on the forum and it seems like the posters would have been vaping for more than year? Are people quitting vaping or going back to analogs after a year? Wonder why no one has posted that has been vaping for 3 or more years? If you'all are out there please post your time and experience.

Hi GSD101,

I've been vaping for almost two years and off tobacco for 21 months now, if it helps at all ? I think I posted on here ages ago (must have done otherwise I probably wouldn't be getting the updates to this thread ;)) ?

I think a lot of the 'veteran' posters lurk around in the Veteran's forum, but there are quite a few who have been vaping for a year or more...

Anyhoo, as I mentioned, off tobacco for about 21 months and don't miss it at all, don't think I could ever go back ! Only vape Low and Zero now but I have no desire to quit vaping (enjoy it too much :D !)...

Cheers,
Silver

I've been vaping for about 1 year 3 months now. Only side effects are dry mouth from time to time (I vape PG), some extra phlegm (also due to lack of H20), and sometimes a little fatigue. Nothing really to keep me from continuing; I just need to keep on drinking water, which is good for me anyways.

An added benefit: When I caught the swine flu, the PG really helped me control my cough and reduce blowing my nose.

I started at 36mg nic levels and now I'm down to 8mg with an occasional 12mg. Not bad. I like nic too much to go 0 mg. ;)

Hi Raven!!! Thanks for the input and the link to the article. So it looks like longest anyone could possibly have been vaping is 4 years. BTW did you vote in the poll?
How long have you been vaping and do you feel better now than when smoking?
Thanks! very much!

You're welcome. Yes, I voted in the poll! Only been vaping since November of last year. I'm starting to feel better, but it is slow going as I have COPD to contend with. My results may not be the same as others who haven't got the same problem.;)

In all fairness, it's not Big Tobacco that's reaping the huge tax windfalls. It's local, state and federal governments that are using it to fund budget items that really should be funded by a general sales tax or income tax. Yes, I agree that we should have health insurance for all American children... but it should be paid for by everyone, not just those who are deemed "sinners."

I'm inclined to agree, but I'm not sure it's a good idea in a world where $0.17 (that's seventeen cents) worth of nicotine was costing me $14.28 day after day after day.
