Unfortunately for me, I've been taking time on my other hobby. Plink, plink. I mean "unfortunately" because at $35 dollars for a box of 50 rounds of .40 S&W, I'm dropping more money on that than I wish

I'd love to turn some gunpowder into smoke and noise(tires too),I don't wanna burn up ammo when its getting hard to find more

I think I can stack CR123's for 6V. But, do you guys suggest I do not. Some people say it's not safe.

I wouldn't,but that's just me.I use genesis atty's,so I just wrap a LR coil, not sub ohm like some seem to like, but 1.2-1.5 ohm. It's a good vape without pushing the battery too hard

Cucco, if you are into RBAs, there's no need. If you aren't, I suggest you to start :). I haven't stacked since the end of 2010. If you are asking for opinions, well.... iMHO, no--- don't do it. If you do, put a 2cent vapesafe in there.

David, I want to use a hybrid atty with the ELA and it utilizes a 20x1 connection (not sure what that signifies). This means, as far as I understood it, that the atty would replace the top cap of the mod which has that kind of a connection. I think that the GUS and the Caravella have this kind of a connection. Will it work on the ELA perhaps? The atty is a dripper, it is small and it would be perfect for the ELA with brass accents in 18350 mode, but if the ELA has different threading for the top cap, then there's no point

Hi Mindtroverted,

Unfortunately, that would not fit the thread size of the ELA.

Hi Mindtroverted,

Unfortunately, that would not fit the thread size of the ELA.

In that case, consider making this proposal one of your future projects: ALE dripping atomizer
FEATURES:
- 510 rhodium-over-gold plated connector
- short length (ideal for ELA in 18350 mode for stealth vaping)
- ability to use both silica and mesh for setup
- air drawn from the bottom connector making it possible to utilize ELA's adjustable draw cap
- future add-on that eliminates one electrical junction by using a long centre post that makes ALE a part of ELA's top cap which, in turn, transforms ELA into a hybrid
- ELA accent ring is used for the outer tank part of the ALE so that you can put your extra ring to good use and freely change the outside look of your atty (satin/polished, SS/brass)

This is just a suggestion, of course

In case anyone missed it:

Precise ELA Hybrid Adjustable Center Post:

• We wanted to take the ultra-reliable, no leak design of Super-T’s press-in Rhodium over Gold plated center post and make it adjustable. Our innovative Hybrid design does just that!
• Our Hybrid design is unique in that, unlike full-floating/self-adjusting designs, no matter how tight you compress down the sections and center post onto the battery, none of that force will transfer up through the center post to your atomizer which can cause atomizer shorts.
• Atomizer positively seats on the top cap with no play or wobble and the user can adjust the post height and force applied to the atomizer center pin. No more shorting atomizers!

Note the attention to detail with machined in flats that accept a 7/16 or 11mm wrench. Normally, you'll be able to just adjust it with your fingers, but, should it get stuck, it beats the heck out of taking a pliers to your precious mod!

There is already designs for Hybrid rba for the ELA, buried in the dark reaches of David's mind! Can't wait to see what he has planned for these things!

is that part sitting vertical so it touches the atomizer, or is that the side that touches the batt?

Looks like the side that touches the batt. At least it looks like the same internal center pin of the p+10 and P+16 I snagged in the clearance sale. By the way those were my first superT mods. I will just say that I have never seen so much attention paid to things like center pins. I am very impressed. If the 2 I ordered were machined out of house, and are nothing of the quality of the ELA with in house machining, I am even more stoked than ever to be on the list to get one.

Super-T ELA: Quality you can see! The ELA's internal finish is of higher quality then most competitors external finish is. Bringing the machining in house will definitely yield big dividends going forward in quality.

Precise ELA's extension tube interior finish VS. a popular competitors extension tube interior:
