I've used a man-purse for over 10 years now... just too much stuff to carry around.
Mines a Kipling; 3 compartments with lots of pockets and zippers, and a big strap...

I also never had brass in mind, not because of the up keep, but because honestly I thought it always was a bit too opulent for me. I did like it on the Precise + 10 maybe because it was small and elegant, but on large devices, It shouted "look at me, I cost a lot" but on ELA, it makes me take it all back. I dont know if its the finish or the particular tone of the brass, but it looks so clean and subdued.

Im going to have to order a set for those special occasions. I love it. Now, Im going to have to find some brass drip tips, Dang you Super-T, now you opened up a whole new obsession for me, I HAVE to go brass drip tip shopping, Im TRYING NOT to spend money.

The only other device that brass looked "right" on was the Caravela, because of the Nautical design.

I went ahead and got an extra brass set when I ordered my ELA. I'm 15132, so I have quite a wait I'm affraid. My poor ithaka is quite lonely at the moment.

Will do Blix. :) I do like the shorties or reg length. I did have some long tips, but I felt to "Wizard-like" I had the Tanbur and I loved it, but never used it, so I sold it to someone that had been looking for it for a long time.

I have Odysseus atomizers and the mouthpiece for drip tips extends just a tad and so now I find shorties and reg length look best. Super-T shorties work best for me, as the T-tip reg length are on the longer side. Maybe now that they have that CNC they can produce mid-length tips. (hint hint, wink wink)

This is exactly how mine will be set up when I get it. I'm even considering snagging a 306 or 510 atty just to take advantage of the adjustable draw.

Thanks David. Keeping me excited!
BTW, is that the longer brass velocity or the snub?

Yeah my diver got here a couple of days ago. I haven't set it up yet though. I plan on modding it a little, for when my billet box arrives. I just can't stand the thought of going back to carto's. I'm RBA all the way these days.

Edit: I just noticed you have 2 ELA's incoming. Man, double the wait anxiety. :D

In a lot of the pictures David posts (like the brass accent ring picture, wow...) I see an atomizer/drip tip combo that looks like a single piece. What is this? You'll have to forgive me, I jumped into e-cig-land head-first and immediately ordered some genesis style atomizers, so I know very little about anything else. I like the sleek look of that setup, so am curious what it is and how well it will vape compared to a decently set up genesis mod? (I'm normally ~0.7ohms with 635 SS mesh, 28 gauge a1 kanthal, and a 2/3 or 3/4 wrap).

I bring this up in this thread, because the combination looks really great on the ELA, and all of the pictures I've seen of this atomizer have been David's on the ELA.

Hydra was PP... yep, but no more... Bashik is on it. no worries. don't know how soon though. Different forms of payment other side of the planet are taxing to say the least... The things we do to get quality gear overseas....USA made SuperT RBA will do real well i'm sure.

A SuperT RBA would be sweet (I'm assuming). The ELA will be my first SuperT product. I'm pretty excited. Took the wind out of my sails a little when I seen they were shipping kinda slow, but you can't rush perfection. I wouldn't want him to do anything other than "his thing" when it comes to fit, finish, and assembly.

From what everyone is saying about his quality, it should be flawless. Nothing pisses me off more than buying a high end mod, and having scratches and flaws straight from the maker. They take your money in advance, operate on your dime, and then send you something with scratches and dents on it (not aimed at super t).

I will gladly wait for a job well done but it won't be easy hint, hint. :D I know, wait your turn like everyone else.

Man, that would make me so "resentful" if I waited and got something scratched up or dented out of the package, especially if they were made overseas and only made a few and then if they decided to replace it, have to wait till the next round because they didnt make extra part in case of a problem.

At least with Super-T I have the security that IF there was to be a problem with mine, that first they are in the US, second lifetime warranty, then I know they would not argue with me, and blame me , drill me, give me the 3rd degree and treat me like a ..... when Im trying to explain that the device is just not right.

I know these are hand finished and that means humans are involved, I like that.

That actually did happen to me. The 510 connection in the top cap was drilled at an angle. The atty looked like the damn leaning tower of pisa when attached. I sent pics and asked for a replacement. They acted like I was trying to steel from them, then they said I could send it back for replacement, and that I would have to pay shipping both ways. I finally lost my cool, and cussed them out. Then they give me a code to get a replacement for free on there page, but I still had to pay for shipping. They will never get another cent of my money.

The atomizer featured on many of David's photos is a very normal and old-fashioned (heh) 510 atomizer paired with a Super-T T-Tip (choose your variety). If you find a source for good performing and shiny finished 510 atomizers it can be an excellent and beautiful vape. Exactly what will be going on my ELA with adjustable draw.

As far as comparison with a genesis, can't tell you. I suspect it would be less of whatever it is you like. Personally I don't care for genesis style for a number of reasons and would gladly vape a 510 over one any time.
