Quick question! this has prolly been answered be4 but im to lazy to dig through this thread...I already have my ELA but if I wanted to order set of accent rings do I still have to wait the Pre-order time frame or will they ship out sooner since its just the accent rings?..Thanks

Because I ordered my ELA and then a few weeks after I ordered the satin I got them at the same time. So you will most likely get them at the same time. Most likely.

About a week or so I placed an order for some brass accents and I received a confirmation but no shipping update yet. I dont know when, but Im sure they will come.

Im sure David will update soon if he sees these posts.

If I remember correctly, I think David said any accent rings ordered now would ship out after the second batch is completed. I think the only exception might be if you've ordered them with an ELA. I could be wrong though.

vaperev has kayfun in stock... all 3 different finishes (175 dollars)!... is it really worth it??? coz i REALLY want to hold out for a super T RBA/RDA... decisions, decisions...

Yes thank you for the heads up! I snagged a brushed earlier! Yet my ELA is satin, my theory of thinking here, the brushed would be easier to sell than the matte looking finish if I decide to go that route. Plus I did order the polished accent rings, I think it will look good!

Cheers to that, rojo. Ever since I got the hang out making coils, eyeballing has never failed!
With my Penelopes and Terminator I just eyeball it. You can pretty much guess that a half inch, about 3 turns over 2 of 34 gauge kanthal around 3mm wick will be about 1.8-2.0 ohms. Trial and error and practice, and you might never need to meter your coils. I don't, anyway.

i just checked and they're all sold out! i'm glad i got my brushed order in as well :D

i did get a polished ELA and while i was thinking of getting the polished kayfun, it looks like it's too polished compared to ELA's 'polish' so i just went with brushed (plus polish kayfun got sold out while i was making my final decision LOL).

already got my tracking number too hehe.

I just sit and laugh now...shipping order confirmation on 3rd for ELA...shipping order from Germany to Phoenix az on the 3rd and received order from Germany still no ELA. Ya, I know he did the order forms ahead of time, just saying. My wife asked me the other day, you have been waiting what 5 months for this mod? I just grin. Ya, from what everyone on this forum is saying its worth the wait. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

"A day late and a dollar short!" leave the forum for half a day and miss out. I've been researching to figure out what I want on my ELA. I decide on this and been stalking C9V for the signup and missed this post now they are sold out. Oh well, #15490 so I still have time. :)

Huh, I just watched a tutorial on rebuilding a kayfun and my impression was the exact opposite. Looks like it takes two screwdrivers and a lot of patience to wick and fill a kayfun, not to mention a tolerance for wasting quite a bit of juice when filling through the check valve and you fill too quickly or at the wrong angle. Whereas the only tools required for re-wicking a gg or clone are the scissors for wick trimming, and you can fill at pretty much any speed. I guess I'll find out firsthand in a few days, though. :) I'm in for a brushed kayfun from vaperev.

I have been using mesh forever and decided to try a kayfun. I had zero experience with silica since i always used genys and loved them.

The Kayfun is easy to set up in my opinion. I dont even touch the valve. I take the top off. Fill up then screw on a little, turn upside down, then very slowly tighten it up. I lose a drop of liquid. Thats all. Once you set up the draw you want then it only uses one screwdriver to set your coil. You would never have to touch the draw screw again.

I have one gamma and another gamma on the way.
Not all juice tastes right with a genys. All my juice with the kayfun tastes superb.
My next kayfuns home will be my ELA that should be here soon:)

No, but it works just fine for the 1.5 and up coils. I only rock the sub ohms in my DID's. Otherwise with "normal" coils, I'll vape in a more realistic range of 8-10W (flavor is better in this range)

Kicked? At only 10 watts max, isnt that abit mild for your taste? ;)
