Wow, I did a considerable amount of research on batteries and charges (mainly on the flashlight forums) but this is probably the best explanation that I've read so far. Great job..

3400mAh is a protected LiCo (lithium cobalt chemistry) battery. Unfortunately, not ideal for our purposes. High drain LiMn (lithium manganese chemistry) batteries are better suited for e cigs.

The reason is that e cigs can put fairly significant amp loads on batteries... More than enough to trigger the protection circuit of the battery. The two AW batteries that are recommended are the AW 1600 mAh and the AW 2000 mAh. Both of these are "high drain" IMR (LiMn) batteries.

Oddly enough, this is one area where a battery's "energy capacity" is of far less concern than it's "discharge capacity". The MNKE 1400 mAh battery has an almost cult-like following because of its 20 amp continuous/ 30 amp pulse discharge rating. It's able to maintain a high voltage output under heavy amp loads. The same for AW 1600 IMR, with it's 24 amp discharge rating.

Bear in mind that this is largely dependent on atomizer resistance. The lower the resistance, the greater the amp load and the more critical battery selection becomes.

I sure hope not, just waited 4 mos for a dam atty. I emailed a couple people at Super T and they told me approx 6-8 weeks, however my number is 16272. I was told around the end of July begining of Aug. Not sure how realistic that is seeing the simple math the guy did a few pm's earlier. I sure hope I didnt get the ropa Dope lol. Anyway the product is worth a wait. Btw Bucketmouth. Do you go to college on the Eatern Shore or Live there? My Family lives down off Nanticoke rd near Sailsbury.
Wanted to ask also, If the product isnt already made, why were the Satin not available for order?

I live in easton....25 mins from there ......I want this mod but not sure I can wait 3-6 months to get it....I can do 8 weeks bit it seems that's not happening.

Thanks! :)
Yea, the flashlight forums tend to gets the hardcore battery geeks and have tons of good battery info. Seems like the e bike forums are producing good battery info too.

You know the kicklet cap will look flat with an atty on it.

true... they were selling the P+ with a Kiklet cap on some of the latest orders for a P+ with flat top... it is a little different in that it has the 4 grooves for air flow though; not "the P+ flat top" but basically will do the trick.
Unless he will sell just the top, you would have to get the whole kiklet.

I think the "kicklet" style caps are available right now on the site..

I have been following this thread since i ordered and many of the updates have been misleading. First batch will be ready bla bla and will be sent out in order of first come first served. I thought i was waiting for him to slowly pack them all but no it turns out they were not ready at all and now we have completely made the term 'batch' redundant as they are being sent out in waves now. Why not be honest from the beginning and state that there is still a huge amount of touches that need to be made after they are machined and that there will be only one person working on them. Also what about informing us that we could just pick them up from Cloud 9 if we want to as super t will be shipping a bunch out to them. I feel sorry for anyone that does not follow these forums and does not know about the delays. I guess they will have to go through the 2 week wait on emails thats if they get a reply at all. Now im sure David is doing his best and yadda yadda but some common decency of an apology is certainly in order as well as a grasp on the idea of how to provide an accurate and fluent estimation of when each customer will receive their product. If i gave my customers an eta and did not meet it then i would work flat out to make sure they were happy once again and give full priority to them. Meanwhile more precise+ are rolling out and also the simplicity and to say these orders are not effecting the ELA's being machined, put together and sent out just does not make logical sense at all. Someone needs to be employed to make sure this kind of customer service does not happen again.
