after watching todd's video about the ELA, was wondering the exact same thing.
how does the ela vent in 18350 mode?

*just had a friend's battery explode and burst into flames on me, in office.
so im a little paranoid now.
Wow did not know he was going to do a review. Thanks for the heads up. Here is the link - Super T ELA from cloud9vaping - YouTube

I am currently working my way back through every post in this thread, and David has covered this I think. From memory any venting gas would push past one of the orings. Can't remember which one though, was it in the switch ? Can't remember so please don't flame me

David made that comment in the Simplicity thread. The Simplicity has venting through the bottom button and there was concern that the bottom o-ring would be blocking it.

You must live right 'cause that there is divine intervention as far as I'm concerned - congrats!

I already own a Satin ELA and liked it so much that I wanted a Polished twin. I own so many mods that I just couldn't pull the trigger ......Anyway I loaded a cart at 9am and told myself if there is one left when I get home its mine... Low and behold when I checked the status at 5:28 pm/1 ELA left in stock, I knew it had to be "Divine Intervention"........

Now that I have gotten use to a 0.8 sub ohm coil....nothing else seems right. In fact even when I use my Provari which I use to set voltage to achieve a 10 watt vape.. I now crank it up so I am I the 11.5--12 watt area...

Since the ELA project is sold out I am hoping David will design that DNA20 cap for the ELA... I need more power then 10 watts...
Nach you and your sub ohm coils have created a monster in me ...Thanks a lot...lol

That video is Nach, and he was just showing a friend his ELA :D
As always, Todd did a fine job with his usual enthusiasm! Someone else posted another Super T video but it's just 47 seconds of him puffing and coughing. I'm not sure why someone would bother taking the time to record and post that.

Not at all. I took your post to be a good, albeit, harsh critique of the builder, his product and his customer service. I have only been at this ecig thing for a little less than a year now and only found ECF about 7 months ago. Since finding ECF I've accumulated several mods in various sizes, shapes, materials etc and have been testing one against the others in an attempt to find which ones I like the best. I just need to get better at letting loose of the ones that I feel are less appropriate for me. As for this particular model, I just happened to meet the builder and thought I would support a local guy by trying his out. I have no other "clones" except for a couple clone attys (2). This builder claims he talked to the original builder and received the "ok" to build his brass clone since the original builder stated he wouldn't be building a full brass model anymore. I have no idea if the statement is true or not, nor do I care too much. I can't think of too many (any) items we have in modern life that are deemed "good ideas" that are not copied one way or another and I like the idea of another American builder stepping into the fray.

I really doubt that in the long run I'll keep many "brass" mods as I'm not too fond of the "patina" that shows up. In addition, constant cleaning of all the brass parts, including the brass threads, pins & etc. seems like something I won't like very much. In addition, while I do like the looks of an 18350 mod I don't care much for the bat life. I've pretty much found that my favorite bat size is the 18490.

Personally, I don't feel like I've "wasted" any money yet as I can most likely sell all of the mods in my collection for close to what I paid for them. I did, however, "waste" a TON of money while on the stinkies.

I was pretty harsh this morning (not a morning person at all!), but I stand by it. I hope I didn't come across the wrong way - my intent was not to disparage your purchase - I really do hope you have a good experience and get a great PV out of it!

Did Dave answer that? The battery caught on flames and burnt 2 holes through the carpet. The floor below us also heard it.

P.S sorry to keep asking. I'm pretty much freaked out. If the ela in 18350 mode doesn't vent, which I highly doubt because I know super t devices are usually over engineered, I'll pretty much use it in anything but 18350 mode. I'd really like to know for a peace of mind.
