Well said. If I didn't have an open mind and wasn't willing to try a new device I wouldn't have the ELA or a P+. I had already traded off all of my expanding mods as they just weren't for me. This one I happen to like. :)

There's no denying that I'm a huge Super-T fan. If it holds an 18mm battery and came from Super-T, I've got it... (technically, still waiting on my P+ 18350 to be delivered)

That said, there's no way I would say that I won't buy a mech anywhere else. There are other high quality devices in the same price range. They aren't better or worse... Just different. Variety is, after all, the spice of life. ;)

Perseas makes one out of aluminum bronze instead of brass (just the tube though) which is a very nice mod and their machining, attention to detail, customer service and pricing is top notch. They, just like David, seem to care a lot about their products AND their customers. Personally, I'm slowing coming to the realization that I may not like the highly polished SS or brass mods or even brass accents in the long run. The brass looks very nice when clean and polished but the appearance quickly fades as I'm using them. The finish on my P+ mods look great and seem to look great even after using them for long periods. I do like the contrast of the top and bottom caps being polished SS.

From what little I know, and I mean little, The only thing that makes a difference in conductivity are the connections? I mean the outside or what the actual main body of the PV is made of would not really aid or hinder? Basically a plastic MOD with good rhodium/gold contacts would basically hit just as hard?

A mod completely made of brass is not going to make it better, nor worse, but like all know, it is softer so eventually parts wear and tarnish. Is there some sort of brass alloys that is harder? I know that I have some antique jewelry made of what they call Jewelers brass it is stronger and does not tarnish like reg brass. Its beautiful and I hardly ever polish it. It is not coated, its just a better quality and even good jewellers swear its gold.

I am excited about that little beaut! I try to forget that I ordered it, cause I am very excited to finally complete (complete to me) my precise plus collection.

No offense intended to you, but I personally feel that is a garbage rip-off from a garbage vendor with questionable business practices, terrible machining and a terrible attitude.

With that said, I hope the device works out for you, I just won't be spending any money on his stuff.

Edit: not talking about the ELA, obviously :p

i guess i'll find out for myself; if so, it goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover (in reverse - because his web site makes it looks so good).
i got on to that because he makes tubes that were recommended to fit another reputable vendors' switch/button/top caps...

Yep... That one will round it out for me too. I've got plenty of 18mm batteries in the 3 different lengths. I have no desire to add the smaller battery sizes and I didn't find out about the ShockWave until the list was closed.

Edit... Of course, with my luck, David will do a redesign of P+ and I'll have to have a full set of those too... ... :(

They are good tubes... It would just be nice if they were delivered in a timely manner. Uke, you still don't have yours??? How long has it been?

David did mention that he was going to try and do a 26650 in the the simplicity line. Who knows when, but I suspect that it will be a huge hit.

Dear ECF and friends,

Below is a photo of me. My name is Immortalizer but my friends call me Immo..

I arrived at my owners house today (raqball) but he has told me that I must sit and wait for the arrival of my partner who he said is named ELA.

Dear ELA, I don't want to sit in a kitchen cabinet so please don't be long..

Immo
