So I'm guessing shipping notices are for the flatbottom buttons. Dave's only upto June 29. Man I can't believe it's still taking this long. Could have sworn he was ramping up production with help of someone else. Geeeez. Sorry had to vent. Work sux after 2 weeks off

It's all good. We all need to 'vent' now and then. Hope you have a good day! :)

... It's a a bit of fiddling to lock, but since its flat and recessed, you don't need to lock it near as much.

News Bulletin
NASA's System Safety team has cleared ELAs with flat-bottom buttons for travel to the Space Station. The only caveat is that ELAs must be verified as locked by a 2nd party just prior to launch. When asked why this approval only took 3 weeks versus the normal 7 months, NASA spokeswoman C'mon Baby Light My Fire stated "unlock fiddling time was consistent and verified this device is not prone to misfires".

Ya know, I was really fine with the regular button.... BUT I had to pick one up anyway. So 6 or fewer remain.

Alright folks, 1 switch left. My wife is going to kill me, but I just could not miss out! I'm committed to the ELA platform and so I know it'll get good use.

Plus I needed some Super T love in my mailbox. ELA Strata still has some time before it lands.

Here is a thought for David as well. Have you considered making a standard top for the ELA? By this I mean one without the decorative ring that covers the airflow channels? I know there is a lot of machining involved in the top cap and by making it a solid piece perhaps the cost could be kept down on future ELA runs?

Plus, the biggest benefit would be easier access to the adjustable 510 pos pin. I find that I have to remove the outer decorative ring when adjusting because it starts spinning before the cap will unthread from the tube. Having a solid cap would eliminate that problem.

The design is amazing don't get my wrong, but I suspect most folks aren't using the feature of adjustable airflow very often due to the requirement for a 510 atty diameter device? Perhaps as an add on option for future ELA orders?

Yes, we've had one designed for awhile now. Hope to produce some once we are through this last batch of pending ELA's. Maybe in February sometime is the goal.
