As I understand even if the KFL fit properly, the draw would not affect it as the KFL doesnt take air in thru the 510 connection, it takes in air thru the hole on the side of the base. I thought it would be cool to attach my Odysseus since it does take in air thru the 510 air holes, but the adjustable draw tops connection is too deep, the 510 top pin doesnt reach. Only the old fashioned 510 atomizers and cartomizers work as they can be screwed down far enough.

I dont know if small atomizers like the Divers, Killers and Sophias with their tanks would work?

Exactly right P, As many of the newer silica atomizers arrive such as the KF, KFL, Aqua, Taifun, etc.(vacuum based) we find they have built in air. All are adjustable on the atomizer itself. Many of the adjustable mods available with air control such as a ring that opens and covers air slots or holes will have no affect. Some builders are cutting a larger ring to screw on or slide on for these attys so there is no gap as, the mods air control is rendered useless.

There are still many high hend tanks and atomizers that a welcomed mod with ac is a beutiful thing as some members use mods without and have to leave a gap where the atty meets mod. Honestly, I personally despise gaps :).

Good idea, but even with 45mm tube Diver with a 35mm carto tank the juice hole is not gonna be in the tank. The Sophia already have an AFC and the juice flow control for both the Sophia and the Killer fit exactly at the bottom of the tank. If David is willing to make a 510 to 510 with the exact same height of the AFC cap that will be perfect (I think).

Wonder whether the Bugs guys are still using a resistive circuit in the touch switch? I had a Wizard's Apprentice once. With the resistive sensor, having to keep the touch switch polished and making sure my hands weren't too dry got old pretty fast.

The machining quality on the rest of it was excellent, though. I can see why you're proud. :)

But it's probably not entirely appropriate to post pictures of competitors' hardware in the ELA thread. This thread would be a better place to show off your Evolved.

I have a question for all you ELA lovers and those who "experiment" with finishes and customization's. I have an extra stainless steel bottom accent ring. I would love to "paint it black" Are there ways to paint it properly and other than a 40 a can cerakote

Are there anodizing places that work with stainless steel?

Look up Caswell Plating, I believe they had a "blackening" solution for SS. I'll look tonight once I get on a real computer.

Wow, icucme2, that does look great. I will have to look that up for future things in mind. If I had a 3rd ELA that would be so tempting to do. I wish there were more black devices. Whats nice about devices like ELA is that when the coating gets nicked and worn all you have to do is remove it and have it refinished like new or blackened again.

Blackening solution, now that does sound intriguing. I know that there is a good spray on ceramic coating, but for just a little ring, its a bit costly. I think its about 40 a can? Cerakote for guns is supposed to be really rugged.

... assuming the inside is coated, but I would think not.
That ceramic finish is as good as any alu black anodizing I've ever seen though.

The pic looks like they coated the chimney pieces too. Not sure how it would be so black otherwise. The coating does look very high quality though.
