Also, just a heads up, many ordered satin finish. Keep in mind that the satin may not match perfectly. Media seasons as no two batches are the same shade. Don't panic though, in the future when its time for a freshen up, you can send the whole unit and cap in and we can satin finish them together.
What is this "never" of which you speak?
He probably just jinxed himself![]()
Since my mods never get dropped or scratched a freshen up will never be needed......
I've had a few small drops with my ELA, but you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at it
Let me rephrase it "have never been dropped" and always carried in a SuperT PV felt carry bag when leaving the house..... Snork don't jinx me now...my drop track record is perfect-O..........
Since my mods never get dropped or scratched a freshen up will never be needed...... Once I get my ELA Satin Strata/Satin bottom button I will see if I need to get them sent in for a better finish match............![]()
I think Snorks mods have seen a few drops already...........
My locking ring loosened one day. I was getting out of my truck, and grabbed her by the top part. The bottom, fell to the concrete. Ding. I was so sad. I am still saddened, each time I see that ding on my otherwise beautiful ELA.![]()
The only one I *haven't* dropped out of all of them is the T1.
That is why I carry my mods in the black felt bag so parts don't fall off.... I buy the bags 6 at a time since they only last about 3 months before the develop holes,,,,,
My Ti is scratched all to hell. My ELA fares better, as long as you don't count the butchered locking slider (although my upper brass bling ring has a big scratch down the side). I make a effort not to drop any of my mods onto ceramic tile or pavement, but they do occasionally roll off a table onto hard wood.
If I ever decide to sell them I'm sure David can put them right. I don't see why I'd ever want to sell any of my super-t mods though.
