Many should start receiving their flat bottoms today. A little tip if you want to shorten the throw of your button is to add one washer to the screw in rhodium plated contact on your button. Remember to tighten the contact back down with a screwdriver, dont' leave it finger tight, it makes for a loose and poor connection.

Also, just a heads up, many ordered satin finish. Keep in mind that the satin may not match perfectly. Media seasons as no two batches are the same shade. Don't panic though, in the future when its time for a freshen up, you can send the whole unit and cap in and we can satin finish them together. I can't take any units for refinishing at the moment as we are so swamped, but we can again in the future.

Since my mods never get dropped or scratched a freshen up will never be needed...... Once I get my ELA Satin Strata/Satin bottom button I will see if I need to get them sent in for a better finish match............;)

I've had a few small drops with my ELA, but you wouldn't be able to tell from looking at it

I would cry if I dropped mine..........since there is no replacing it.
I had a couple of Provaris in the past that suffered drops.......I sold them on the Classifieds...Then bought a new one... I have a sickness as you can tell...OCD about my mods.

Let me rephrase it "have never been dropped" and always carried in a SuperT PV felt carry bag when leaving the house..... Snork don't jinx me now:ohmy:...my drop track record is perfect-O..........

... you can kiss that record goodbye for the reasons stated. Btw, the felt carry bag (now known) will be dealt with by the Murphy rep. I expect when you do drop it, it will be in close proximity to a wood chipper.

My locking ring loosened one day. I was getting out of my truck, and grabbed her by the top part. The bottom, fell to the concrete. Ding. I was so sad. I am still saddened, each time I see that ding on my otherwise beautiful ELA. :(

That is why I carry my mods in the black felt bag so parts don't fall off.... I buy the bags 6 at a time since they only last about 3 months before the develop holes,,,,,

My Ti is scratched all to hell. My ELA fares better, as long as you don't count the butchered locking slider (although my upper brass bling ring has a big scratch down the side). I make a effort not to drop any of my mods onto ceramic tile or pavement, but they do occasionally roll off a table onto hard wood.

If I ever decide to sell them I'm sure David can put them right. I don't see why I'd ever want to sell any of my super-t mods though.

My Tis (350/650) have never been out of their pouches long enough to get scratched. I can't seem to set my ELA down long enough, to use them. :)
