Many should start receiving their flat bottoms today. A little tip if you want to shorten the throw of your button is to add one washer to the screw in rhodium plated contact on your button. Remember to tighten the contact back down with a screwdriver, dont' leave it finger tight, it makes for a loose and poor connection.

Also, just a heads up, many ordered satin finish. Keep in mind that the satin may not match perfectly. Media seasons as no two batches are the same shade. Don't panic though, in the future when its time for a freshen up, you can send the whole unit and cap in and we can satin finish them together. I can't take any units for refinishing at the moment as we are so swamped, but we can again in the future.

I got mine in the mail today:D its just too bad that i won't have my ela for a while yet:(

That looks so much better than the other one! The Satburn one made the ELA look stunted, but this one looks great! I think it needs the couple extra mm under the bottom accent ring, plus the fact that it locks, however fiddly and we use the rhodium pins as well. Haven't got my notice yet, but I'll be a happy camper when i do!

Man, that was quick, Super-T!

When I finally drop my ELA, I will finally release the sustained "NOOOOOO!" I reserved when I first got it. It includes, kneeling, fist shaking, and at least 2 tears. :)

I still do the same with every mod I drop. No matter how many times. It's not scratched or scared. It's got character now. Shows someone loves and enjoys it enough to actually use it. :toast:

I wish i could feel the same way you do about a scratch or dent. I use my mods. All of them. Some more than others and some have certain jobs they need to do for me - for instance some stay at the desk with me, some go out to the shops, some go on adventures and some are required to be there when i am either ...... off or happy. If any of them get a mark on them i start to feel different towards them. Like they have failed me or i have failed them in some way. In either case i try to ignore it, but at the back of my mind i know that mark is there and it kills me inside. The strange thing is i am not some crazy hermit in the woods which my behaviors and beliefs would suggest. I consider myself quite normal.
