Just curious, is there a reason I would want a p+ if I am getting an ELA?

When I started this 'vaping' thing, I was just trying to quit smoking. I went to my local vape shop, and bought two of the best mod they had. My vapes are problematic, so I got on this site to see what others are using. I had no idea this whole 'vape world' existed! Wow! You guys are so knowledgeable, in so many areas of this world. I then told myself, I will not let this turn into another obsession. I will not start buying .. and buying .. and buying. I am trying to use self control. But, you guys all talk about so many things, and you are genuinely psyched about them. Makes me want to try everything! But, I am still trying to use self control. I will not .. I will not ..... :)

If you have two ELAs coming, you seriously don't have to worry about buying another mod. You have two great devices, great devices! Though if you change your mind, spending the money at superT at least offers a lifetime warranty.

Funny thing in va I saw a p+18, forget which one, with no rhodium contacts going for 150euros. Then another for like 210euros. Crazy, just plain out crazy. Glad that David restocked them while those auctions were going on. Kinda hilarious!

Can't agree more. Justin time is the best in the business and his prices are more than fair. You will not be disappointed just get ur order in with him fast when he starts taking orders again cuz he's only one guy and his waiting list fills up quick!

Were there pics of the mirror polished ELA posted in this thread? What page if so?

Don't get me wrong, the quality of the precise plus is great! I love love love my precise plus mods. Ha Ha love all of them, but I do believe the ELA in my opinion is above the precise plus. That is my opinion of course.

I will never sell any of my precise plus mods, now that I ordered the p+18350. I own the p+10, p+16, p+18500, p+18650, and soon the p+18350. Along with the ELA and the simplicity 14500.

To me there is a difference, but I am odd also. So don't listen to me. :)

You guys are all so much fun! Wish you were all local! :)

My P+'s get more daily use than my ELA. That's partly because my P+'s are alread used and abused and I'm still babying the ELA... But... The fact is, the P+ is light weight (compared to the ELA), simple, comfortable and down right convenient.

The P+ & ELA do have a few things in common but (IMO) they are totally different devices.

ha! i know exactly what you mean! i started with BLU...yes BLU. quickly moved to 2 volcano infernos with a couple small 3 ml carto tanks. told myself...this should do me! i'm good now!

a year later, we have

3 Bolts, 2 provaris, 2 zmax, 2 650 egos, 1 AGA-t, 2 RSSTs, 1 chobra, 20 something drip tips, 5 boxes of cartos, 5 3ml carto tanks, 6 6ml carto tanks, 2 6ml UDCT carto tanks, 1 phoenix raven tank, 3 carrying cases, 12 batteries, 2 battery chargers, box full for o-rings, 28 awg, 30 awg, 32 awg, 2 sheets of 400 mesh, a tool kit specifically for RBA building...and a think around 16 bottles of different juice laying around. mix in the ELA and KTS Telescopic Storm that are OTW...and yeah, our vape has turned hobby. :(

I've heard great things about both of them. I have two Xtar WP2-II and love them. Worst part about them is that both of them had crappy cheap wall worts that I had to replace not long after buying. I found universal 12v 1A ac adapters on amazon in scratch n dent packaging for < 5 bucks each, so I don't complain too much.

1 amp fast charging of 18650 batteries = win.

I'm getting ready for my ELA. On the Super-T website, there are two chargers I am looking at. XTAR VP1 Intelligent Charger and Pila IBC 4 Stage Intelligent Charger. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks! :)

I haven't used either...
The Pila charger has been the absolute gold standard for as ling as I've been vaping. It's tried and true and there have been tons of tests done that shows that it follows a very precise charging profile.

The VP1 is newer and has a few extra bells a whistles and by all accounts is an excellent charger. I have the XTAR WP2 and have been happy with it. I assume the VP1 is at least as good...

If I had to replace my current charger, personally, I'd go with the Pila, simply based on it's long standing track record.

I have had my Pila for 3 years and it still works perfect....0 issues batteires come off the charger @ 4.2 volts every time.....Im also using a pair of AW IMR 18650 batteries that have been in use (every day) for 15 months and still last me a full day plus... I belive its because the way a Pila charges the batteries it makes then last longer...
Pila=proven track record!
