Kind of disagree with that, you can't have a sophisticated vacuum fed topper and expect nominal operation when not setup/used as designed. The same applies to the ELA, if you don't follow proper protocols then a host of issues could arise.

Edit: This reply in response to snork's position on the KFL and apparently most RBAs that can leak if not setup properly.

Sophisticated schmisticated. If a person can't go from where they work to the sunny outdoors with it then vacuum feed is a failure.
I'm sure I'm eliminating myself from beta testing anything because I'm being such a jerk but I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Getting picked to beta test is no big deal to me. I get picked or I don't.. As a matter of fact, I don't have a Simplicity 18350 (the requirement) and David previously said Ti owners won't be considered as testers.

Either way I will more than likely buy the Super T rba.

Plenty of people (me included) have taken the KFL on aircraft and I had zero leaks with the pressure changes. My ears popped the KFL did not.. LOL

I am trying to focus of getting Cucco's issue fixed. The KFL leaking out the air hole is common but the steps to fix it and avoid it from happening again are pretty easy..

Of all the RBA's I have used the Diver is easily the most pressure sensitive of the bunch. It works on some voodoo pressure system that I can't figure out..

If I fill the tank past 80% I get leaks from the 510 pin. As long as I keep the tank filled to 80% or less I have zero leaks..

The KFL is not really all that pressure sensitive in my opinion..

I get what snork is saying though. Every RBA has it's quirks and there is no perfect one.. YET..

I find most of the quirks to be minor or easily overcome. With many of the high end RBA's a lot of the issues are simply user error.

I wished i lived close to Cucco.. I can get my KFL going in 10 minutes at the most.. I did get leaking issues out the airhole yesterday. But it was my fault.

I usually refill using the fill hole on the bottom, but i was being lazy and wanted to try something new. After rebuilding it, i decided to fill from the top. I covered the fill hole with my finger and screwed the top cap on.. Got gurguling and leakage from the air hole. Haha

Best to just fill it the way its supposed to lol..

Besides yesterdays error on my part ive never xperienced leaking... Im stumped

Leaks from the air hole could be a few short things.

1) Filling from the top cap (Cucco has said this was not the case)
2) Accidentally plugging or blocking the air hole when vaping
3) The o-ring in the top cap that connects to the chimney stack is missing, damaged, or not getting a seal.
4) Bad o-rings or a bad o-ring seal somewhere creating an air leak into the tank
5) Chimney not sealed causing massive flooding into the chamber

These are the only things I have ever seen or heard of that caused juice leaking out of the air hole.

Edit to add:

Cucco try clearing out the flooding by doing this:

Hold the KFL upside down and put a paper towel on the end of the drip tip. Blow into the air hole and juice will flow out of the drip tip into the paper towel.

Rinse, lather, rinse and repete until no juice come out of the drip tip end.

Flooding issue is now clear.. Vape and report back..:)

I'd like everyone to be just as irritated as I am so some genius will come along and end this madness.

Ok, you asked for genius and I am here. Problem solved. Look for my rollout of HauntedMyst's Adult Vaping Bibs. You'll be able to get them in a variety of colors to match any outfit. For the white collar man, you can get them imprinted with a tie. For the mullet crowd, you can get them with a Lynard Skynard concert t-shirt look. For the ghetto/rapper look, you can just skip buying it since apparently that crowd thinks its ok to look like a slob. We'll have to ask the ladies what women want on theirs since according to my wife, I have no clue what pleases women.

Just to clarify, it can be a 18350, 18500 or 18650 Simplicity or the TI version too as we're behind schedule.

I rarely get a leak in the atomizers I use. Only time I get a leak is if while refilling I forget to close the juice control or like a dumb dumb, or if I forget to tighten the little ring under. Even then its not a major leak, just a bit.

Other than the having to twist the wires, its very very forgiving, and I can place it sideways, upside down etc. Only on really really hot days, if I happen to have a thick juice in the cool morning and then leaving it in the car sideways with the control open too wide will I have a minor leak. I use very thick, VG heavy juice and only on those rare occasions does it get so hot that if open really wide will it leak a bit and rarely floods.

Its a very well made atty and offers a lot of customizing as far as size, windows;small and large, etc and except for orings, no plastic parts to melt. They make me happy and for my modest resistance needs it perfect.

My eyes, my eyes, my eyes can't unsee what they just saw..

Sooooo...

I was checking out the classifieds and saw a Roller for sale..

An ELA was offered as a straight up trade and the seller passed!

WOW!

Could this be the biggest classified's blunder in the HISTORY of the ECF?

Note: the Roller sold shortly thereafter for $110?

WOW!

Not just that, but who would trade an ELA for a roller? The roller is a great little PV at a good price point, but....

To make matters even worse not only was the ELA offered as a straight up trade but the kick tube for the ELA along with an extra ring was also included..

And just to clarify, there should be No leaking from the Super-T rba be it sideways, upside down, backwards, forwards etc

The ELA is my first Super-T vape. After seeing what a 'class act' the ELA is, I have no doubt. Looking forward to purchasing an RBA from you!

Hi guys! Thanks for the input!

There is a good chance that user error of some sort lead to that leak. I am not feeling well, so last night I just switched back to my old vape. Today, I am still sick, but I was missing my ELA! So, I broke down the KL, cleaned her up, and did a new build. So far, so good!

Hope I am feeling better tomorrow. I need some new supplies from the local vape store.

Tomorrow is my ONE YEAR CIG FREE!!!!!!!!!!!
