Okay, good!
I'm a clean lines gapless kind of guy too. When I first got the ELA I was a little taken aback by it, it is such a departure from my beloved P+. Knowing what I know to be true I took some time and imagined myself as David as the ELA was born.
Around that time the boom of super clean, bottom firing, often engraved sexy tubes was just beginning. I can see David thinking "Uhhh, anybody can do that. I'll do something different!". Using his signature style as the basis, he *purposely* made something that is the antithesis of the Caravela, Paps, etc. and the klone boom resulting.
To me the ELA is at once beautiful and brutish, simple and maddeningly intricate, something to shine and fetish over then go work on your car with.
The knurling and bumps and little gaps grew on me as I began to understand that the ELA is a statement. An answer. Don't F with me.

Well said, snork... well said!!

Indeed! I just stalk high end quality.

Thank you and I bet sister! I am looking forward to it also. I wont apologize to anyone for posting that as I have had this discussion pm/email with many owners that "get it" and they love their ELA's.
I like clean and neat, not that the ELA is neither and I will freely admit it is me. I just see an option of a smooth ring with cut lines as David did with the top caps, artful even.
I have had several opportunities to buy an ELA, this time it is going to stick and I will look at as mine!
The Ti I am extremely excited about. Two things that stop me in my tracks is Ti and smooth lines.

Idaholando: I really wasn't judging, or anything. If it sounded that way, I am so sorry! That's not me. I was just saying, I have loads of issues with loads of things. Major nit-picky perfectionist here. But, for some reason, the ELA doesn't irk me in any way. Almost nothing, do I not want to alter and make better. It has been a real treat, to finally purchase something, and be happy about it. For me, it really never happens. :)

Oh, I did not even think that girl! You are awesome. I was probably just was just an enhanced justification for myself!
In fact when, I've been judged and judged, doesn't seem to bother me :).
I always appreciate your comments and help, don't stop!

As we both know, Perseas and Pedro are genius builders and artisans. I am looking forward to feeling the same here. Thanks my friend.
Surprisingly I put up with my overstocked GG junk pile for too long.

Hasn't seen one yet, so here is an ELA with a Magma
yzu4yru3.jpg
Ah, the Magma, been talking to a few on UK Vapes about their Magma. I swear off dripping every time I sell my latest and greatest dripper due to my preferred coma state while vaping but, am tempted to buy. Just dont see it competing with the REAL Trident or Origen. Intrigued though.

I was using the SQuape for a while, but I have just sold that to free up my ELA for the Strata.

I am going to need a new profile picture soon
Had 3 SQuapes and down to a final one that was a gift from Christian. I have this thing with good builders that care and love their supporters.

...and strippers!
Nacho knows me

Anyone have any experience with the Kayfun Mini v2.1? it looks to be a little bigger in Overall dimensions than a carto in regular mode.
You just gave me something cool to do. Stand by, I'll have something for you within the next day or two unless somebody beats me to it.

This has ominous overtones of a Darwin Award in the making, like a redneck with a case of beer and a four wheeler saying, "Hey, watch this."

Thanks Snork! you already own one? ive been looking at rba's ect online since my last post and I received some direction in the comments here, I ventured over to vaperev looking at the kayfuns and such for me the Kayfun mini v2.1 is what im looking at but there are no dimensions listed or juice capacity, if it functions well and is truly not to much bigger than a carto I think ill give it a shot, I can always dremel polish it out myself to match my ELA, also something ide like to know how long do those ceramic bases last that the coil goes into and could i do micro coil cotton builds in the Kayfun mini?....I hope forcedfuel dosnt have a problem with me talking about other rba's on his thread I feel like kicking myself in the ... for not getting on board with the strata pre order but it was already to late once I found out about it.
