Regarding the discussion of the 18650 accent rings here is what I was thinking.

1) A two piece threaded/telescoping setup. Just now sure if there is enough room to thread them.

2) A two piece set without threads. You could add a recess to the standard ring and have another bottom ring that could slide up and fit underneath the recessed section in the top ring. Only issue would be the bottom ring would spin in that case.

Also, I'm surprised there hasn't been more chatter about the brass button offered by David a few pages back. Seems perfect with the new flat button.

This is a very important rule indeed Snork when buying or selling.
I *do* make exceptions when selling. Mostly I have sold 5-10 under retail depending, but a few items of exceptional rarity/effort I've gone a little more, but only within the limits of reason and make entirely sure the buyer is *thrilled* to pay it.

One more thing. I know there has been lots of talk about regulated devices lately as well. I was originally very excited about the DNA20 add on for the ELA. I'm pretty much bought in on the ELA system so having the option to add regulation is something I would be all over.

That being said, the standard DNA20 and or DNA30 setups don't appeal to me that much. The extra length kills it for me. Honestly the Kick 2 seems the best option currently available.

I know Evolv is talking about releasing new products this year. My dream is a 30 Watt Kick with integrated battery. Eliminating the neg. connection prongs and integrating with the battery's neg connection. It should also have Bluetooth and an iphone app to allow adjustments and eliminate the fragile screen and reduce overall length.

A guy can dream right? That in my ELA? Too cool!!

You know awhile back when the kick 1 was new I joked about adding Bluetooth to it. I definitely think it would be awesome. I love the kick2 but hate adjusting it. Thankfully I usually stay around 11 watts so I don't need to mess with it often. DNA 20/30 would be cool, but I personally don't go over 15, so I'm perfectly happy already.

Of course I would still buy two DNA ELA add ons because I must have all of the things.

I'm with you on this Snork. Virtually everything that I have sold, I sold for 10-15% below retail (closer to 40-50% for close friends and family). The only thing that I sold for retail was one of my ELAs, and I can only imagine how stoked the buyer was.

I get that Snork, no doubt.
I also refuse to auction items of high interest or rarity when I move on. This industry is about health and creating relationships of friendship and camaraderie. It should not be a business venture on the user side.
Proudly, what has gone out from me has come back 3-4 fold to me, I depend on Karma.

Just sold my hit it Anatolian mod to someone local for retail to get my funds up in case an ELA pops up. Don't know if you guys know much about that mod but it has my birthday engraved on the button and the guy I sold it to has the exact same birthday, he was super stoked
Wow, similarly, in a recent yard sale I sold a JGG with "Idaho" engraved to a guy in New Jersey for 40.00 less than retail as I wanted it gone!

That's a fact. I'll bet most of us have given away far more than sold.

I once met a guy who told me he and his wife took their honeymoon in NJ. I thought ẁṯḟ? He saw my expression and followed up with I'm a ship nut and my Dad was in the Navy, checkout Norfolk's naval shipyard next time you're there. I thought about it ...
... well if his wife is a ship nut then ok, otherwise ẁṯḟ?
