The Pre-Order wait times can be a bit frustrating, but at least you know you will be getting an ELA eventually.
I thought I would try to score a ZNA to see what its all about, but with no Pre-Orders its an impossible task...
I signed up for in stock email notifications and have been at my computer when they popped up, but you know the story-when you go to the website- Sorry, this product is currently unavailable.

Many people have made special requests from time to time...... some have actually been made possible by the super, Super T team.
I have a request of my own. NOw this is not to say there is anything wrong with ELA, it is , in my book nearly perfect. I would love to see a solid tube made for it in 18500 and 18650 size. No real need for 18350 as it is perfect as is. I thought for those that are gap-less fanatics and those like me that have bad hands that might like to not have to use the locking ring when going out and about town.
The only thing I would miss is the knurled ring which gives ELA a great look, add to the unique look, keeps it from looking like the other "tubes" out there. Just a thought, just adds to the great "lego" type fun that it has to get variety in configurations.
That and the coloured accent rings, especially the bottom one would be something Id love to have. I still have not made my spare bottom ring black as I would love.

I second that request.......... It will make me really , really happy when everyone get their ELA. Ive had my first one since June, 9 months ago, wow. I got mine 5 months after the order.

I hope you gave the bottom assembly a thorough cleaning. I know after I cleaned my simplicity I was amazed at the difference in performance. It was good before but it's such a gradual process of dirt & oxidization that you really notice how much better it hits after a good cleaning. Just remember the plated pins just need wiping & no abrasives. Glad you got it done!
My ELA arrived today! I hit a financial hurdle last fall and had to sell my first but knowing 2 more were coming down the pike, I didn't mind. Around that time I saw Avid say she emailed them and asked if they had a Satin and it worked so I did the same...and it worked! I am now the proud owner of a Satin ELA!
