I'm going to say that the ELA won't be very stable sitting on its button, considering it appears to share the same button as a PrecisePlus.

That's the only thing holding me back from ordering right now. Most of the pictures I've seen are showing them laying on their side. I've got to have something that is relatively stable standing upright. I would be carrying it to different places through out the house and I can't take some sort of holder along with me to put it in all the time. If I still used carto tanks that wouldn't be much of a problem but these mesh rbas have to be kept upright or they will leak.

I have a P+ 16340, and I have it standing on end all the time. I think that it is just as stable as my Provari, and it is only 18.5 mm in diameter. Now, that being said, anything that is taller than it is wide will be unstable to some degree. I do use a holder most of the time, because chunky gennys will cause any mod to be top heavy.

Edit: Except maybe a BAM.

oh joy!!
That's odd because my P+s are from one of the first batches, and they all work with my Pennies. It shouldn't be a problem because you can adjust the center pin of the Penny down until it makes contact with the positive post.
oops oh joy!

problem is, my P+500 satin is almost identical in finish color and almost as light and well machined as the Wand (which is super thin Titanium)... which MUST go on the P+ for now... SuperT promises to upgrade the center pin for me...

good lord, i set my P+ down this afternoon, upright, and left the room, as I've done before of course.... came back in and desirous of another toot... found the Cobra was hot enough to burn my hand!.... the P+ was hot too.... lord. what is going on?... I have to keep it resting at tilt now....

Is this because the button got stuck? I mean its certainly not supposed to fire the button just because its standing upright... it does depress the button about half way when standing... is that normal?

Ok ok, i must have set it down on some little item that depressed the button beyond halfway point.... lol...

btw most of my Geni atomizers are polished and this is a satin P+500.. the diameter is perfect for the DID, and the Wand...

Donna, it stands up fine but I'm getting tube mod holder... even the wider tubes will fall if nudged, but resting them at an angle is a good way if you have something to rest them on...

Not to make light of what happened to you, but this makes me all the happier I fell in love with Odysseus. I can lay it on its side, fall asleep with it on the bed, ( not recommending it, still could be dangerous ) no leaks.

My Saber touch with Ody on top did get overheated once. I had placed it in my purse, insside a little leather bag. I didnt realize it had a zipper inside which must have made contact with the touch sensor and fired it off. Fortunately I reached in for a vape soon after. It was real warm, but no damage. Since then I put a brown paper bag inside to cover all sides of the PV. I also take the battery out if Im planning a longer trip or know that Im in a situation where I wont get a chance to use it for a long time.

I also tend to place my PV on my chest while watching TV and working on laptop. I noticed that once I was wearing a front zipper hoodie and the sensor touched the zipper and fired it.

Guess what Im trying to say is, theres always some minor danger or inconvenience even on the best of setups.

Both are beautiful finishes. Very hard decision. Polished can become satin later, though satin can not be polished. Check out page 69 in the picture comment thread. Vaptamist has a beautiful picture of the satin finish. I originally went with polished, ordered the grab bag of tips and inside it came with a few in satin. I then saw for myself how beautiful the satin finish was and had to change my order. The pictures just don't do that finish justice.

I've had this happen a time or two just from the device being a bit too heavy and it depresses the button too far and fires the atty. I just ensure that I set the button lock now before standing it up. Hasn't happened since I started doing that! ;)

"Working on serial numbers 51-65 now. Should have them out today and monday. This coming week my goal is to get through to about serial number 80-90. Hope to have the rest done the following week, (second week of April) as ill be gone four days in mid April and need to get them out by then. The end is near for everyone."

Sounds like David is very busy... No wonder there is no time for photos, he is working on a bunch of other orders for the Shockwave. How long has the pre-order page said 6 to 8 weeks for? So did we work out whether the ELA will have serial numbers or who got in on the first batch?
