Hah, that would fix it, though not an option in the order screen.
i just noticed that too. also noticed that the accent rings are already polished and there's no "satin" option. so...if you order a satin ELA...the rings are polished regardless?
That's what I'm thinking is the case, maybe someone else can step in.
On an unrelated note - do you know if the extension cap is required for 18650 with no kick? It's labeled 'kick 18650' so it's not entirely clear if the base mod holds an 18650 on it's own.
i understand you only need the extension tube if you want a kick with a 18650 and the ELA will fit a 18650 on it's own:

If you order a satin ELA the rings it comes with will be satin as well. I just ordered an extra set of polished rings and a set of brass rings as well
Go away for a few days and get back to find it is all happening! If only I had made my mind up a day earlier I'd be in batch 1, never mind it'll arrive eventually

That's what I thought when I placed my order, back in February. After I ordered, I saw a post from David stating that you could specify satin rings by making a note in the comments when ordering...
Since my order had already been placed, I sent him an email requesting that my accent pieces be changed to satin to match the rest of my ELA...
His response was that he already had me down to receive satin accents.
I took that to mean that, unless you specify differently, the accents will match the rest of the PV...
If you want to be 100% certain about what you are ordering and what you will be receiving, use the comments section to spell out exactly what you want.
... and now I'm wandering if satin/brass accents would be an option???... hmmm...

I've asked for this, and unfortunately was told they won't be doing it this time around
But David also said that the accent rings will also soon be available in different colors and finishes? so we just gotta wait some
I have to say vaptamist you have a talent at catching the beauty of the satin finish. A true talent!
If they do become an option in the future, I'm pretty sure I have to snap some up.
I'll have to start firing up the compressor and play with some various materials to see if I can match or come close to David's satin. I have a feeling that this will need to e done for a few of my atty's before they can be put on the ELA.
