Wow - thanks to everyone for the photos. I'm more than pleased I chose the polished finish:)
All I need to see now, is what it looks like with the brass accent rings!
Great to hear it won't fire until the button goes past the horns - I've got another mod (not a Super-T) that I put down without remembering to lock it and totalled a rba as a result:facepalm:
Looking forward to the next instalment of this thread.

my first order in march was a pre-graduation gift to myself (i think i'm like in the 300s, so second batch)... and today was actually my graduation... so i decided to get myself another graduation gift LOL. i can't wait!

Hi fellows, not even get my ELA (second batch) i am planing to plate parts of ELA and tanks.
But never did before, my concern is about if gold, silver or rodhium may drop voltage.
And if gold, should be 24k?

Btw, all these pictures are making me not sleep well :)
Nice job for all, who sent the pictures.

Stephano.

Bisteka, trust me, bro. Once you get your ELA you won't wanna plate anything on it. Maybe, like suggested, some laser engraving on the top accent ring. :)

And finally, it's no Ithaka but 18350 mode (non-AW battery hence the gap) with the Terminator and Rampage long tank. Notice there's a little gap under the tank but I could probably turn down that ledge and mill air channels.

Is this pic with the Term using the adjustable draw cap?!?

Nice set up kscoggins! You may still be able to get this flush. Back off the ELA center post slightly and then unscrew the rebuildable portion of your term slightly. This will shorten the distance the center post sticks out of the Atty's 510 connection. Might get it a bit closer!
I certainly don't want to make anyone envious but I figured everyone likes pictures SO...
I tried out the adjustable draw cap, and it works like a charm. A little bit of a tight fit for some atties but I think that's the point.
Here's 18650 mode with the Vapemate

And 18500 mode with a carto

Just a small word of caution to Pending ELA customers, before rushing to change your finish type from satin to polished, keep in mind that historically as was the case with the PrecisePlus, photo's don't capture its beauty. The satin finish doesn't photo well, but in person, it too is stunning. I'm sure some PrecisePlus and Shockwave customers can attest to this.

I think the satin looks awesome even in the pictures myself. Has a nice sparkly texture :D

I've got a satin P+... What Dave said is spot on. The satin finish is really nice. I ordered my ELA in all satin too and I haven't seen a pic yet that's given me even the slightest twinge of buyers remorse when it comes to my choice to go with the satin.

No, this is the "regular" cap. I think David mentioned this, but it didn't sink in with me until I got it in my hands, but the adjustable draw cap is only usable with an atty or carto that will physically fit down into it (basically you need to have the atty's air holes completely below the deck of the adjustable cap.)

Looking back at my pictures, it does almost look like plastic or painted textured finish. I can assure you it doesn't really look that way. This is a solid, substantial device in every detail. I think I would have liked the polished finish too, but I absolutely love the satin. My advice: don't second-guess your choice based on my pictures!

I now have four SuperT devices. The ELA is the first one I have with the polished finish. One other thing to remember about the satin is that each finish is unique. None of my satin finishes are the same. Each is beautiful. As previously stated, pics can't capture how good it looks and feels. In contrast, all of the polished are the same. I love both finishes, and I got the polished on the ELA largely because it's a better match for the attys I'm currently using. That's probably a large factor in many cases. Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with either finish.
