how exactly do u test for the drop under load and do u subtract the ohms to get the drop of just the mod

You put a inline voltage tester on your mod...You check the voltage with no atty attached...then you screw on the atty and see what the voltage reads under load..

Yeah. so glad for you fraghole!!!!!!
I wonder where its been all this time.

I'm curious about that myself. I'm just glad I'm almost done with this trade. This has been an ordeal. Just hope it's not bashed up. Hopefully it has just been sitting somewhere, and not making trips around the planet.

Yes, my brass chi finally surfaced today after being in mail limbo for 5 weeks!!! I thought for sure I had given away a brand new foggatti atty away for free. Man, this is truly a relief. I just hope its in good shape. Anything in the mail system for a total of 2.5 months has bound to have taken a beating.

Hopefully that will keep me occupied until my ELA, the mod to rule all mods arrives.

That's awesome... Congrats!

Glad it finally re-appeared :) International trade? If so, it was probably sitting in customs somewhere. I've seen packages coming into the US sit for that long before

Yeah, it was from Russia. I know, I know, I've read bad stuff, and good stuff, but tracked it all the way through Russian customs, and export, no problems or delays. It didn't disappear until it entered USPS system. Whats odd about the whole ordeal is, I still don't see any info about customs on the US side. Just looks like a domestic package in route (accept for the title designation of course). Still don't know if it's even went through US customs yet. I buy international quite often, and customs is always the first thing that shows, before the usual sort facilities, except in this case. I'm just glad it has finally surfaced.

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to write a frickin book about it.

I've never held a chi but I think the poldiac (which you have) seems nicer IMHO. Don't get the hoopla about it. If you don't have a roller I'd absolutely check that out too, it's a slick little mod (I have 2 now).

i'm sure the hoopla has some merit... not sure about the street price/value ratio is for the Chi You, but for the rhodium in ELA vs silver Poldiac contacts, I sold my poldiac as soon as i pre-ordered the ELA.

James, if you don't mind, post this on the Official Super-T Pictures thread too. This beauty of a pic might get buried quicker on this thread than there.

Thanks very much for sharing :)

Nic

PS- just saw your pic there after I posted this

Yeah, I like my poldiac, but the only gripe I have about it, is the button, and button assembly. To many parts, and contacts to keep clean, but it will hit like a truck.

I was kinda that way about the chi, until I was able to get one in hand, and that changed my mind. I do however hate all of the hype that goes on around them (by design IMHO).

Thats what has drawn me to super t. No hype, no drama, and top quality. Plus he seems to be able to communicate with his customers without being arrogant, or disrespectful (so far anyways), even when there's a slight disagreement. That goes a long way with me.

The Chi-you from what I've seen is a nice looking, well designed PV - but I couldn't agree more with the "hype" part of it. It was the heaviest "amateur" hyped PV I've seen to date. Forums were spammed with how awesome it was, before most people even had them in their hands, and then lo and behold, they started getting flipped. I think a group of people realized they had a connection to get a decent number of them at the introductory price (back when they were less than $200 for a new one), and they took the time to whip everyone else into a frenzy. Then they cashed in when everyone else had trouble getting them due to the supply being scooped up, and then flipped a nice profit. Things got even worse when the US re-seller fumbled the re-selling process.

I've seen more "never used" Chi-You's "for trade" than any other piece of vaping equipment, and they're one of the most common items on auction sites, as well.

Two different mods. The ELA is obviously the better built. The poldiac is the very good, but is pretty looks wise. Prettier than a chi for sure. I wouldn't use a poldiac as my daily but I'd use the ELA daily.

I think caravela looks wayyyy nicer and it's what the chi was copying essentially. People are using them to flip for super T shock waves lol.

V, I have seen so many people, literally, lose their dignity to try to get one or the other. There was a joker that showed up couple of threads ago, pretty much blasting Dave's product (Not you, Dizz) and us only to sign up for another forum, and pretty much BEG for that maker's mod. There's A LOT of hypocrisy around nowadays.

Again though, I really think we should drop this conversation on Dave's house. Sorry.

You can tell what lists have been completed by whats for sale on the auction sites thats for sure. I know my ELA want be one of them.
