Ugh...maybe today you'll find out what prize you got!!!I didn't get any.I ordered an Achilles rda a week ago today... and it apparently hasn't even hit the US yet, though it shipped a week ago tomorrow. My husband says there's a longshoremen strike or some crap, so it's probably sitting in some hold somewhere, just waiting for one of those loafers to do their job.

Yes it's awful here but there's a new text system. That's why I didn't go early. I'll go check in and use my time running some other errands then go back. I hope it works that way at best.
Ugh...USPS seems to have issues, too. Hubby just called to tell me bank froze his debit card cause local USPS returned mail to his bank with the dreaded "can not deliver, can not forward sticker" on it. We bought his house almost 2 years ago, and have had this problem on and off the whole time.I selected the "Domestic Expedited Shipping" option, which said 4-10 days with tracking. When I didn't get a tracking number for several days after it shipped, I contacted Frog and Fog and asked them if they knew anything more; they gave me a tracking number, and said it should hit the US about 3-4 days after the ship date -- well, apparently it hasn't, since all the tracking number gives me is that a shipping label has been created.
People going on strike in this economic climate need their heads examined; they should be grateful to HAVE a job, when so many do not and would probably gladly work for whatever wage or under whatever conditions the strikers are protesting.

We also went paperless with Wells Fargo, who handle our mortgage, for a similar reason! So I called up both BofA AND Visa and ripped them a new one! Now they don't send me ANYTHING with important numbers on it! Idjits!Going thru the same thing currently, and ive lived at the same residence for better than 13 years. Its getting maddening
I hate the feeling I have to stalk our apparently chemically altered carrier every day. Yesterday, I got a bill from JANUARY..she said "oops, I guess it was UNDER my seat".. Gee, thanks, I had to pay a late fee on that because they didn't believe me when I said I never got it. I took a whole handful of ones with stickers on them that we finally got LATE to the PO and told them they can start paying the fees. And yes, we've switched to online billing, but theres a few that we don't have that option.
Interesting Idea Red, can I back charge for late delivery?? I experience the same issues living where I have for 7 years... Seems I pay through the teeth to use the USPS anymore... Then it seems lender's do not believe that the USPS can be fallible. The worst seems to be within my state itself, took a week for a letter to go 3 hours away... I could've walked it there and got home before they delivered it...but when the USPS are "aiming for 60% on-time" delivery rates what should we expect... Once upon a time I worked for a towing company, I saw many people lose their vehicles due to sale because they never got the impound notice...
