I have a pro ring from IBTanked and love it! image.jpg. That is a 19mm halfling that I used with the pro ring one time. I will get on my other tablet and find another pic. But it works just as describes, I really like it.

Cute, reminds me of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.

Hey! How exactly is that pro ring different from normal ones? The description on the website says it's a little taller than usual, and it's only meant for ib tanked cartotanks. Just wondering cos I chose to skip buying it cos I used both RBAs and cartotanks.

I will say that the ibtanked ring is nicely made and works well with their tanks for which they were designed. Even with the 2 holes in the ring, the draw is a little tight to me since the carto is pulled slightly down from the tank to make a connection. The ring is a little finicky because of the extra height with other tanks and RBA's. Like I said, OCD designed these rings for his tanks and caps and it is a really tight flush fit!!

I skimmed thru the thread to see if this was mentioned yet, but didn't see it...apologies if I missed it. IBTanked has an IBTpro 22 Stainless Steel ring for the Provari (around $15?..shipping $3) that is USA made. I have one on order so I can't speak to how it works yet.
Edit: actually $12.50

So I received my tatroe pro ring today. It sits flush with the top of my provari, although It left a very noticeable gap between the base of the kayfun and ibtanked tank. The ring rattles around when I shake it. Sigh. Having said that, it's not an issue with the ring, but more so with the fact that the 510 connection stem is longer than what the 510 head of the provari can accommodate.

I'm gonna go with the Hippo I think.

Not gonna lie, but 50 bucks for a ring is just a little ridiculous for me. (Although I do want a hippo so so badly...) And also you might wanna find out how deep the 510 connection goes. If it's the same as your mod's and your tank doesn't sit flush in it now, it's not gonna sit flush either way

I just bought my first PV mini and since I put the money out for all the stuff at Provape, I said screw it and went ahead and bought the Hippo 2 earlier today from Avidvaper. It wasn't the cheapest as you all know, but seemed like the best choice for me. So the deal is done for now… I'll post an update when I get my vapemail.

I have the V1 Hippo. The airflow ring adjusts up and down, so you just screw the atty into the Hippo...it will sit about as far above it as it would on a naked ProVari. Then you just tighten the airflow controller against the bottom of the atty. You might have a little gap at the bottom of the Hippo, but the fit between the top of the Hippo and the bottom of the Kayfun is practically seamless.

I saw that earlier - anyone HAVE these? Anyone have anything from ABCVaping?
I mean, it's just a $12 risk, lol - but I don't NEED another ring...yet...and I'm curious if these are well finished; if they're tall or short; if they're another known ring not being named (most of the products on that site look familiar).

Don't know if these have been already posted... $12.00 rings:

Heh heh. Someone's gotta be the guinea pig right? :p

I would loveeee to find a cheap ring that's a couple of mm taller than my tatroe pro ring from cigtechs. Having it rattle around with my kfl and intanked bugs me to no end

The Tatroe I got rattles around too. Just not quite tall enough. I ended up putting a dab of superglue on it to hold it down. Heresy! Hopefully a tiny drip of acetone will pop it off when I decide I don't want it on there anymore.

I was THIS close to doing exactly that last night!!! But I was worried that if I ever wanna trade/sell my provari that would become an issue. I'm thinking some double sided tape might actually do the job.....

But yeh. The gap doesn't really bother me nearly as much as the rattling does. Drives me nuts.
