Probably already answered somewhere, but what does a Provari do that a LavaTube doesn't?

Personally, I don't care for either one. My "happiness" is 6V with a dual coil cartomizer. I can't achieve that with either model. However, if I had to choose between the 2, I would take the ProVari. I sold mine due to the E2 error and the weight. As for the LT, I hate that it self regulates down to whatever it "thinks" it should safely be at.

Can you run it all day at 6v??? I ask as I have only seen everyone saying they run it at 4.2. I am now afraid to stack batteries to achieve 6v or more, and am back to 3.7 and eyeing the cigarettes instead. If it can, I'll be saving up for it!

JMO, LT and any knock offs will probably get lower in price as time wears on, the Kick comes out, and other new mods. I understand it cannot do 6v, so I will not get that.

Yes it can. Till the battery is drained enough and provari shutdown. Provari only use a single 18650 IMR batt.

@hairball: Sure dual coils are nice when running @ 6volts. Sometimes i vape that in my boxmod. I'm still saving for a darwin myself.

Sent from my mind using my fingers.

That's a valid point, but voltage can be offset by changing the atomizer/cartomizer resistance. With Boges in 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 models available, you can find a sweet spot with variable voltage in just about any ecig available.

Every carto and atty vapes differently due to airflow and coil construction to name just two differences. To get the voltage one prefers by changing the atty is much less precise and consistent. Then there is the problem of the atty resistence changing with use.

I would much rather have a variable model such as the Darwin or Provari that regulates the power and provides more consistency. With the Lavatube you are limited to 4.2 volts. I also want a model that has a good warranty which the lavatube does not.

I got a provari and a mini lava(whatever ya wanna call it)
The provari is substantially better in every aspect,it also cost more(worth it)
The mini lava is a durn good vape and its not a buncha $
can't speak on longevity or problems with the mini, only had it a couple days
Had(still have)the provari over a year,its been dropped a few times,broke the atty or carto(done both),still works like new
and looks almost as good

Hi there. Where did you buy Mini LT? I asking because saw your posts at thundervolt and 2smok. I'm newone that's why couldn't asking there.
So I'm still waiting... I thinking to cancel order and order ASAP at another place... w/o the same result like at 2smok.
PS I asked 2smok by phone about current status few days before. They promise to ship it on next week.

Can't beat the LT for the price and functionality! The Provari is the top dog but comes at a price. The only draw back to the Provari is its functionality/menu/button. If they made it as easy as the LT then that would be the best!

I do like that the Provari gives the user a bit more info as to the ohms of each carto/addy being used, so that you dont need a meter.

The diff comes down to cost only!

Solvapor.es have the Mini LT body (only) for 36€ they also have 18350 Battery separate for 5.50€ dont have any chargers at the moment though
I bought mine through them and it was good next day shipping !!!

The only Plastic bits are the decorative bits on the end Caps apart from that they are as "Metal" as many other devices lol I think this happened with the early models anyway,I have dropped mine twice onto concrete not a mark on them !!!! But my Ming Drip Trip broke lol

Never owned a Provari or Lavatube for that matter, Bought the Cyclone kit for $71 shipped which include 2batt charger couple of attys and a case but only a 3mth warranty if it last more then a mth or 2 I shouldnt need the warranty.
I dont care for the hot vape so I never go over 3.7 now anyways so I can allways take my batteries and charger and buy a standard mod.

Thanks for the info. But for now they've got only regular LT (18650) :(
How long did you use it? I heard it working less than 8 hours for hard usage is this true? I stil thinking to order LT mini or regular LT. LT mini looks for me better.
