Thanks Imeo. They fit nicely on the telescope and bottom section but not in the extension. I will try the sanding.

This is a problem with many of the 18650's out there, not the GG at all, although I do appreciate your problem, as you obviously want to use 18650's with your GG.
I had this problem, repeatedly, some of the batteries are so warped they are not even straight, which is ridiculous.
I always sourced my batteries in China, and would try various makes, the worst of which were Soshine, which incidently are the most expensive also. Obvioulsy suppliers do the same, so its a case of pot luck really.
I normally order at least 4 pairs, and that way Im usually lucky in that I have 3 working pairs. Avoid Soshine !
This problem affects many ecigs and not just the GG.
Trustfire 2400mAh protected ( black with flames on side and red stripe) are the best I have found, and fit all, including my GGT.
Try rolling your batteries on a flat surface, and just see how many of them are warped, you will be surprised.
It seems to vary just a bit from individual telescopic tube to tube.
They're a tight fit on #61, shorted out a 3000 mah on that one. No problem with #161. Obviously my older one is the HV vape, and the newer is my 3.7v model.
On the positive side, the aluminum telescopic tube doesn't have a problem at all; must be because it's thinner than the brass. Yea, (formerly) unnecessary purchase!
Can you give us a link please mwa? I would certainly be interested as 18650's are my battery of choice.
Yeah, There should be some brands that should fit without sanding, if your willing to buy some batterys......
I think the AW 18650 fit well
Yeah, but this one is unprotected, and 1000mAh less than the other AW.Pretty sure Cloud9vaping also has them... here is the link to the LiMN series.

Hi VapnIm sure she would want the best vape possible? Have you tried both of these batteries? Well I have and I would recommend the IMR AW over the Protected version any day. And we also know for sure that the LiMN is going to fit in the TS. My protected version does NOT fit in my TS. With or without the sticker. Plus the LR atty really shines with the LiMN.
Tried 1100mAh AW LiMN and got it drained after few hours (3 or so) with BE112LR.
Currently I'm on a second day wit IC 2600mAh on 901 LR.
Hi Vapn
AW IC 2600mAh fits TS without any force in my GGv2 and powers my LR attys like a hammer.
I haven't try LiMN one, I believe it works though!
