Despite reports of some problems, I finally pulled the trigger on ordering a Tornado today. The Mega batteries I ordered back in December have finally begun to fail me so I thought I'd give the Tornado a try. Those 5 Megas bore a Hell of a load over these 4 months and I most definitely got my monies worth out of them. I'm hoping for the same with the T.

I too got two of them. One is still fine, one would not work in a week. I am so fed up with totally wicked I am not even bothring to send it back, I am never ordering from them again, in fact, let me find the rightplace in this forum to give them a review.
Blessings!

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.... :|

The first battery I used with my brand-new Tornado works great.
However the second battery has a tendency to stay "ON" even after the button is released. Sometimes I can press the button once or twice and then it'll shut off, sometimes not; it seems to be an intermittent problem

I just ordered a tornado battery, cone, and an adapter for my 510 AC charger, since I already have a 510. How long should I initially charge the battery when I get it?

My two Tornado batteries are fine!! No problems at all. Sorry you all are getting bad ones. But then again, my original two 510 attys are also still working fine too! Hummm...

Regarding how long to charge them; well put them in the charger and when the light turns green, you are good to go. Both of mine when received took less than 30 minutes so they were pretty much charged upon arrival.

Seen other posters talk about the button sticking being an issue - any crud and such getting in there can be a problem. I'm trying to think of some thing to do to keep stuff out yet keep looks and functionality acceptable.
I never had a chance to get crud in mine since it arrived dead and they refused to replace it. I notified them withing 24 hours and since it was such a deal as I ordered the "value pak" and it has no warranty. I guess that shipping crap is OK

Suppliers forum.....dont post in their personal Totally Wicked forum cause they will delete negative posts. The censor it and everyone knows it. I have personally been there, done that

They do that - no insurance against DOA. Which is inacceptable, in my eyes. It's one thing to say "no warranty", and a completely different one to say "we can ship you the contents of our trash can, and there is nothing you can do about it".

The only thing I'll still order from TW are those neat little black empty bottles, and only until I find another source for them.

To be fair, not every 5-pack contains DOAs. I did order a 5-pack atties and a 5-pack ordinary 510 batteries during the last sale, and they still work, although they start showing their age. (Unlike others that were brought around the same time, but still, 3 1/2 months, very good for atties, decent for batteries.)

It's just that quite a few of those packs do, and I won't risk it again. Back then I relied on a posting by somebody who really should know in their forum. Obviously, I was very optimistic. And very lucky, too.

Not acceptable AT ALL: janty gives 6 months warranty because the supplier gives them at least 6 months!!!

In fact: heavens-gift gives 6 months on atties and batteries...so it´s all about getting the customer pleased. TW does not care about it. Period. For me they are as good as dead.

Janty just got a BIG order from me...TW loss!

One thing to note is that Janty also offers no warranty on the battery 5-pack. But at least they guarantee no DOAs - something TW evidently does not have the common decency to do.

Which is exactly what makes the big difference - warranty costs money, not just replacement parts, but shipping, handling, that sort of stuff. Since I know I'd not send anything back after like three days, I would not want to pay for it.

But at least I know the stuff I get does work when I get it. Paperweights I can get cheaper, I don't want to buy those from PV vendors.

I received my 2 tornado batteries about a week ago. Previously I had ordered the 510 from TW and wanted to check out the longer life batteries.

Buying the tornado battery was the best decision I've mad so far. I was switching the 510 batteries 3 or 4 times per day (i just started vaping 2 weeks ago, no cigarettes since, but I vaped 24/7 the first week). The tornado battery lasts me 7-10 hours with heavy use. The vapor is more consistent than with the 510 (i saw heavy drop off after the first 15 or 20 puffs).

I hope everyone gets their issues sorted out. I for one am a happy customer and both batteries are working flawlessly.

Good luck!
