510 vs. P3 connector regarding Kayfun 4 and Nautilus - the total lenght - mod with tank - stays the same. The P3 connector is sturdier, but on the K4 the breaking point would then be the + pole screw that holds the base together. Dunno about the P3 Nautilus and P3 Kabuki, never seen them, don't know what's inside. Thats with SS. If I drop my Ti with a 510 tank, the press-fit top cap just comes out a bit, so on that that's the weakest point.
Loud thinking. I didn't catch what the discussion was about..

I'm thinking ... the connection to the top cap ... or the chip has gone crazy.

Does anybody know about the chip? ... do they just die? Or do they act up before dying?
Certainly nothing obvious.

Ticket taken out. Me thinks my precious, nearly 3 year old P2 is going on vacation to the great northwest. :)

There are a couple scenarios where the board appears to be acting normally, but no power goes to the atty. Bypassing the reverse protection can cause one of the scenarios, if the battery is inserted backwards for even a second. The control section keeps working, but the regulator is toast... it appears to function... well, everything but the important part, that is.

Yes, the connector is there and cleaned. Thanks Willy. I do have power running through my Provari.
Sounds like the board is toast. What color/style /size is the tube?
and is it worth getting fixed, Just copied this from ProVapes site:
Replace Electronic Assembly (Circuit Board / Top Cap) - $70.00
Repairs to the Circuit Board - $25.00

I don't know what kind of repairs they do to boards, and a new unit can be had for 80$, so unless there is any sentimental value, that would be a tough call.

Agree. Yes, there is sentimental value to be sure but being the cheap bastich that I am there is a limit to my sentimentality.

I have the satin silver P2. I bought it with the extended cap but I ditched that long ago and vape it with an 18490.

So it's a fluted tube?
