Yes Jw, that is what I meant by upper battery contact. Gave it an alcohol swab. No go.Did you check the contact inside?

Certainly nothing obvious.I'm thinking ... the connection to the top cap ... or the chip has gone crazy.
Does anybody know about the chip? ... do they just die? Or do they act up before dying?

Sounds like the board is toast. What color/style /size is the tube?Yes, the connector is there and cleaned. Thanks Willy. I do have power running through my Provari.

Ticket taken out. Me thinks my precious, nearly 3 year old P2 is going on vacation to the great northwest.![]()
Agree. Yes, there is sentimental value to be sure but being the cheap bastich that I am there is a limit to my sentimentality.Sounds like the board is toast. What color/style /size is the tube?
and is it worth getting fixed, Just copied this from ProVapes site:
Replace Electronic Assembly (Circuit Board / Top Cap) - $70.00
Repairs to the Circuit Board - $25.00
I don't know what kind of repairs they do to boards, and a new unit can be had for 80$, so unless there is any sentimental value, that would be a tough call.
What does that cost?
So it's a fluted tube?Agree. Yes, there is sentimental value to be sure but being the cheap bastich that I am there is a limit to my sentimentality.
I have the satin silver P2. I bought it with the extended cap but I ditched that long ago and vape it with an 18490.
