I picked it up today and took a pic before I gave it to a smoker at lunch time...

She was super excited and said she wanted to try vaping, but just did not know where to start...

I hope she is successful!!!

Jim

It's such a great feeling when you help someone get off cigs! Good job Jim and I hope she is successful as well!

Aren't cigar bands supposed to be removed?

The display won't be blue, just the led button.
Uh, yes it will on the V2 & 2.5. The P3's are all white.
Edit: Should have noticed how many pages I hadn't read before answering.
Fast moving thread here.

And they look nice! Plus it gets me away from having to use that dopey beauty ring.
I heard back from the Mothership. All is well ... 'cept I forgot to send "that dopey beauty ring" along with the mod . I'd taken it off to put on a P3 Kabuki. Ah, well. They've offered to just remove the beauty ring from the new one. Sweet!

ProVape replied saying the board on my P2 is shot (which I figgered was the case). So a new board would be $35...includes shipping. Also get to choose my LED color...red, blue, or green. Kind of a no brainer. Just wondering what a P3 top cap would cost. Waiting for a reply.
That is great news Bronze! Nice that they are giving you such a great deal on the repair

Yes, uh, I know. We resolved that many posts ago. But thanks for adding more salt to my memory wound! LOL
Speaking of memory wounds, I edited my post after realizing there were several pages of answers.
I forgot how fast these threads moved.
One reason I rarely post.

I hope you know I was kidding with you. I'm the idiot who boldly said the screen on a P2.5 would not be the same color as the button. I deserved to be corrected and corrected again! Yes I did.

All in good spirit my friend. I took no offense and hope you didn't.
You'll know if I ever get upset.

I heard back from ProVape and they said they could put the P3 top cap on for me.

I find it a very reasonable price. As they said, it's like a new Provari in the old tube. And I added a P3 top cap to it. Lovin' it!

ProVape doesn't rip you off on repairs I find. They cover their costs and probably make a few nickles but they don't gouge you like many repair shops of varying equipment.
