Very well stated. Why politicians are turning this into a gun control issue is beyond my thinking and is only a ploy to take our right to carry a weapon. A terrorist has no rights whatsoever in our country and for people to feel his computer and cell phone are off limits should consider moving to another country. The Boston Marathon terrorists used pressure cookers to kill and injury. Box cutters and jets took down the World Trade Center. Our right to bear arms cannot be taken away ever. We have to step up and do what's necessary to stop our home grown terrorists and keep the rest out of our country.

I love that show! Perry is my hero. My daughter prefers Wallykazam though and that's what i'm watching right now. :(

Better than the news, but not as good as Bubble Guppies! :D
During most weekends & damn near the entire summer every tv in my house is commandeered by a 6 yr old who thinks he pays bills around here. ;)
Oddly enough the other night I was watching P&F and caught myself having a major attitude. For once I wanted Candace mom to see she was telling the truth & then BAAMM he put on the P&F 2nd Dimension movie & finally mom knew her daughter had been telling the truth.

EDIT ~ I thought I posted this yesterday but due to a bunch of 404 error messages, it never posted. And I see it waiting as a draft today. :)

Well, I'll have to offer counterpoint to the gun discussion. This is the weapon used in the mass murder in Orlando:

I don't think this is what our founding fathers had in mind when the 2nd amendment was enacted. No I don't. But this is an AR-15 and I could go into a gun store tomorrow and buy one, or four or five.

While people get their feathers all ruffled at the thought of gun control, please don't lose sight of the fact this weapon of mass killing was so easily acquired by Omar Mateen. Legally acquired.

Something has to be done. The status quo isn't working and I will now no longer vote or support any candidate for elected office who doesn't support stronger gun control laws.

Have at me. Rod popping in for a moment and right back out..........

That looks like a crappy and cheap AR-15.

You're right, our founding fathers didn't have AR-15's in mind. They didn't exist.

Unfortunately, for your future voting record, the candidates who support gun control are the ones who are against vaping.

I support labor Unions, gun rights and vaping. I'm going for, "two out of three."

I don't honestly know who supports or doesn't support gun control. But in general what I've observed is Republicans don't and Democrats do. I don't know if there is true partisan support or lack of support for vaping? After the massacre however, I am going to make gun control a major priority for me.

I would only offer that... Had people been able to carry and defend themselves, this may have had a different outcome.

Guns don't kill people. No matter what their design, but, People bent on killing people do.

Jim

PS I am sorry for those who were lost, or did lose someone in this incident.

Yes, Sir Rod, the Democrats are extremely anti-vaping and the Republicans are the only ones sticking up for us. Look at the sponsers of H.R. 2058 and the records of who voted for the Cole/Bishop Amendment. It will shock you...

I'm going for pro-vaping, I'm not worried about the firearm issue at this time. I believe most Americans feel like I do on that issue.

IMHO, the vaping issue takes prudency at this time...

It's simply too easy for people to buy guns. I don't advocate stopping people from being to purchase a gun to protect themselves. I don't. I do support making it harder for people to buy them.

I really don't want to get into this particular debate, but I just want to say one thing, the mass shootings always take place where it's illegal to carry. The cowards pick those places because they know no one can fight back.

You know, I'm probably going to get tore into for typing this but here goes. Every cloud has a silver lining and I truly believe the gays will gain more sympathy from even the straights that couldn't care less before. I really feel the gay community will come out stronger and have more support than ever before. Sucks this incident happened. I get tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat when I watch the interviews with the survivors.

should we limit all people's ability to own these items because a few people do not respect the power and responsibility of advanced technology.

There are millions of responsible people who do not deserve their liberty taken from them on account of a few.

My thoughts exactly..........

Except, I'm willing to bet we don't agree at all. I'm certainly not suggesting guns be banned. I am suggesting the acquisition of them be made more difficult.

But let's just not change anything. Oh no. Why would we do anything different?
