Welp, tick-a tick-a timing. I just this minute got a note from FT.

Hi KD,

Please do not be mad and here we will refund you the money of the SKU (edited out).

For the money, do you want us to refund to your gift certificate? It's a gift certificate code and it's good as cash. Simply enter it in step 3 of checkout. There is a gift certificate link right above the "Place Order" button. You can use it to get anything you like.

Or, you prefer to paypal? Please advise.
See? Is it FT's fault that you never learned Mandarin Chinese in school?;)

I find FT is good to deal with IF you get someone that understands a tiny bit of English. Otherwise, forget it.

Sadly not.
Remember the old story about the beauty of compounding interest and how much richer you'll be by saving in an interest bearing account as it compounds over time?
Well, the same works in reverse, when you have interest bearing debt which you don't pay off. It gets bigger and bigger and bigger. And since we don't pay off the debt, and since interest rates can only rise from here over time...Big problems.
And the Federal reserve is a private entity, yes, PRIVATE, meaning someone or someone's owns the loans...so who really owns America?

Here's a quick and fascinating breakdown by total amount held and percentage of total U.S. debt, according to Business Insider:
  • Hong Kong: $121.9 billion (0.9 percent)
  • Caribbean banking centers: $148.3 (1 percent)
  • Taiwan: $153.4 billion (1.1 percent)
  • Brazil: $211.4 billion (1.5 percent)
  • Oil exporting countries: $229.8 billion (1.6 percent)
  • Mutual funds: $300.5 billion (2 percent)
  • Commercial banks: $301.8 billion (2.1 percent)
  • State, local and federal retirement funds: $320.9 billion (2.2 percent)
  • Money market mutual funds: $337.7 billion (2.4 percent)
  • United Kingdom: $346.5 billion (2.4 percent)
  • Private pension funds: $504.7 billion (3.5 percent)
  • State and local governments: $506.1 billion (3.5 percent)
  • Japan: $912.4 billion (6.4 percent)
  • U.S. households: $959.4 billion (6.6 percent)
  • China: $1.16 trillion (8 percent)
  • The U.S. Treasury: $1.63 trillion (11.3 percent)
  • Social Security trust fund: $2.67 trillion (19 percent)
So America owes foreigners about $4.5 trillion in debt. But America owes America $9.8 trillion.

I really think I need help. :D

I just got excited when I saw that a recent vape order is "out for delivery".

Why is that weird? The package only contains 1000 feet of kanthal and stainless wire. I likely won't even touch this wire until I blow thru the 200-300 feet I have on hand (years!).

How nutty is that? All excited to get something in my grubby little hands that I will immediately throw in a drawer for years?
It's the sense of satisfaction at being set for life!

So I have a question.. I have 2 minis and a 2.5 now. I have 160 to buy more...given the regs and everything should I buy 3 more minis/2.5 or a blemish p3? I MTL with 1.8 at 4.1
I would buy 3 Mini/2.5's. I personally love them with the P3 cap. Well worth the $20 upgrade IMO considering a tank ring alone is $10.

You need to redo the math. The debt is over 17 trillion.

It's moving way to fast. I'll be gone by the time the clock runs out by the grandkids will live through what my parents lived through another great depression.
That's only if the bubble doesn't break sooner rather than later.

"The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion for the first 42 presidents – #43 added $4 trillion by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child. That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic."

Guess who said that in 2008.

meep.

This isn't the same article I read, but the gist is pretty much the same: Why the U.S. Government Never, Ever Has to Pay Back All Its Debt
