Got a email from the White House yesterday from Smilin' Joe Biden. He said he doesn't believe civilians should be allowed to own AR-15's or high capacity magazines and the President agrees with him.

Every since I wrote to the White House in one of CASAA's "calls to action", I've gotten lately emails from the Prez, the First Lady, and the same Joe Biden one you got, Coldgin. They're pretty presumptuous in assuming I want to hear from them on anything other than what I wrote to the White House about.. 
You're right. I believe that's how I got on their list too. I must admit, I like knowing what they are up to. Case in point the last email from Smilin' Joe. If I write the white house I'll be on the no fly list.
Yeah, we all got auto signed up for notifications. I'd rather be on the list and have a heads up to what they are up to and putting out there, so I can take whatever appropriate actions I deem relevant to my desires. Where I work, we had a State Sales Tax Audit a few years ago. The auditors carried.
I really didn't get that....totally unnecessary at my workplace. SMH!!
I (personally) think it's a method for intimidation.
ETA: Actually we had both audits. A Federal and a State. I don't recall which carried, but one of the two offices did...

EXACTLY why there's a 2nd Amendment and why IT'S THE 2ND ONE!
Has it been a wonderful experience for anyone here to have met with a gov. agency for anything? ......especially the IRS? Why do you think you've got to go through a TSA type screening to enter a gov. building? Why is it that the fencing around the White House is scheduled to grow to 11.5 feet?
