Nope. She kills my ability to buy more Provaris.

I say "Look at the great deals on blem 2.5's..." And she says "No!" :p
Heck, that's easy, just don't show them to her. :D

I better start buying more provari's. If they last forever do I need more? :)
It doesn't happen often, but I have read a few accounts of displays failing, switch failures, which BTW the person repaired the switch himself with parts from a replacement switch sold on fleabay, and boards suddenly failing to fire anymore. Two or three ProVari's, maybe four and one should be set for many years of vaping. Any more than that I see it as hobby/ collector territory. maybe even hoarder territory

I guess I'm a hoarder. I just don't know where to draw the line. So, I don't draw it at all.

That's it. I'm collecting all the colors. Except that I think I'm probably through for now. Until I'm better stocked up on toppers and spares. Then maybe . . . .

Hobbyist, Collector, or Hoarder ... I can relate.

Imagine if the FDA actually succeeds in stopping innovation.

10 years from now ... all we might have left are the used ProVaris, REOs, and some mech mods.

Most of everything else might of crapped out.

I liken the above scenario to Prohibition. Where there is a will, there is a way and the Feds by damned. The products will be inferior and some likely down-right dangerous but they will be there. I for one am taking up modding as a Hobby.. in addition to my other Hobby, juice distillation.:D

Sorry about that, my friend.

Thanks, Willy. BTW, I had two lawyers trying to get me out, and consulted a third one later about damages.

Here's the really bad part: According to what I was told, the police can pick you up for any reason and hold you for 48 hours under the Patriot Act, doesn't make any difference as to whatever you did or didn't do falling under the act. And the 48 hours begins when they say it begins, not when they actually cuff you. And Miranda? That's just something they teach in con law classes.

Also, when you see the cops on TV put a guy into the police car, you know how they always push the guy's head down so his head doesn't bang the door frame? Another myth--at least in my case. They purposely smashed my head against the frame.

Power corrupts. And we've granted it way to easily, of late.

Only we can change that, IF we've the stomach and will. But do to that will take guts & courage. Breaking from the norm does not come naturally to humans. We are territorial creatures, comfortable in the arms of familiarity.

@JUMA55 , reading your experience is infuriating, it really sucks that you were targeted by somebody and went through all that, the Patriot act is one of the most dangerous pieces of legislation ever enacted in our country. That and the Presidential order allowing declaration of martial law and control of all resources creates a perfect storm whereby we could wind up in a totalitarian state. I feel as if the terrorists regimes have already won, because they have caused us to react in fear and caused us to allow the destruction of our free way of life.
