Thank you Robin!!!!!! Now where the hell you been???? :D

Busy with Grandkids the past month. They are all gone home now and I am back to my 'normal' schedule. :D

People are often amazed to learn that in Tampa's history, the temperature has NEVER hit or broken 100 degrees. Yes, it's sultry and in the 90s every single day of the summer, but with the afternoon thunderstorms, it's often more tolerable in the summer down here than up north. It's longer without question. We figure it's a tolerable price to pay for the sublime winter months. Yes it is!

Doesn't hit 100* here either. :D

The Landscaping is DONE DONE DONE DONE!! And it came out better than we ever imagined it could or would.

And without further ado, the pics:

Good eye Robin. They're African Iris. When they do bloom, the blossoms should be like this:

Those are simply beautiful! I may have to get some when the house ever gets built LOL. I'm assuming they grow well in Florida's sandy soil? I know there will be topsoil put in but ..... sand underneath all that.

Thanks! Everything our landscaper planted is supposed to do very well in the Florida soil and sultry climate.

Me not knowing a thing about guns was in my house looking for one that belonged to my father. I knew it was in here somewhere & was worried about my mom getting her hands on it (Alzheimers). Well, I found it & had the thing turned to my face. My son just so happen to come home & said mom don't move. He took it out my hands, did some James Bond ish & said ARE YOU CRAZY!!?? There was one in the clip & I could've shot my face off.

So yea.....be careful not to vape it!

Thank you my dear!!

Yesterday I bought the new grass grill. We haven't owned a grill in more than 10 years, so I'm super stoked to have our first cookout. We also found a cool rug for the new "hot" chairs!

Good choice on the grill @rbrylawski. Weber builds nice grills. I have one that is 17 years old. Very easy to replace parts and such. I have replaced the burner assembly twice now which ain't bad. Still cooks great and does not owe me a dime.

Thanks! When I used to have a grill years ago, it was a Weber. It was trouble free. I saw others buy lesser grills, which died within a year or two, but not my Weber. Kind of reminds me of when some of us used to buy Chinese cheap mods........

'Browski, that yard is AB-FAB, dahlink! I just love it! Promise to press me some white B of P fleurs when they bloom?

Thanks, Kat. And yes, Rod - it DOES look absolutely fantastic!

Why?

Did ya get out on work release?!?

LOLz

;)

No comment Kat, but I did order a S&W today.

:thumb:

Yes Smith and Wesson. 9 mm. It will look great along side the P3 TI, just have to be careful that I don't try and vape it.

:vapor:

Lexi (sigh) - wow. PLEASE be careful.

ALWAYS treat a firearm as if it's loaded, even if you know it's not.

And draw an imaginary line, like a laser, in the direction of wherever it's pointed. Imagine everything down that line, regardless of walls, or anything else that you THINK is "in the way". This practice should ALWAYS be done, whether it's loaded or not. It trains your brain to never forget about that, and it might save someone's life some day.

Respect the firearms, every second of every day. Carelessness is unacceptable and unforgiving.

VERY glad to see that our friend Lexi is with us right now. And please don't ever do that again. OK?

They are solid for sure...

My Weber is about 13 years old and it has never been covered. I use it in the snow, rain, whatever. The fire button only died a couple of years ago.

The only maintenance I have ever done was new flavorizer bars and replaced the cast grilles when they got rusty (maybe twice total).

I would never buy anything else!
