I googled Temco tempered nickel wire and got this :
Nickel 200 Guide

Hope this helps :)

Interesting that they say :
What is Nickel 200?
Nickel 200 is a ferromagnetic, commercially pure wrought Nickel. Its composition is 99% Nickel at minimum. At maximum, it can contain: 0.15% Carbon, 0.25% Copper, 0.4% Iron, 0.35% Magnesium, 0.35% Silicon, and 0.01% Sulphur.

Nickel 200 can be used in rebuildable atomizers to ensure that heat is applied where you want it. For example, a coil can be made by putting nickel 200 wire on each end of your Kanthal or Nichrome wire. You can then measure out your nichrome/kanthal wire to a set resistance and put nickel wire leads on each end to connect to your posts. The result: only your coil will heat up for the most part, elminating hot spots at the connector grommet.

They're to the right of the electric meter. They belong to the cable company and when they hooked us up, I asked if I could paint them and was told I could not.
I love you, Sir Rod! I was just trying to have fun with you. Kind of like adding salt to the wound. The old guys at work had a saying, "I wouldn't tease you if I didn't like you!" You don't ever see me teasing Astro, do you? :w00t:

On a serious note, I don't blame you for not painting over them if you were told not to. I probably wouldn't either. BUT... You're the paying customer. I bet if they got painted over because someone didn't know any better, it would take a long time to get noticed (if at all) and by then it would be like, "Really? There's wires out there someone painted? Where?" Besides, it's not like they are going to re-use them.

I love you too! Yes I do. I've certainly been tempted to paint over the wires. But I keep playing the "sir, you shouldn't paint them, because if you do and something goes wrong, we'll charge you if we have to replace them," in my head.

I am not sure who and where this was posted, but someone mentioned they used brasso to clean the pin on their provari. Who ever that was thank you. Great idea. I cleaned the family pins tonight and wow what a difference it made. Vape like they are all brand new again. Anyways yall have a good one.

I'll take the credit for that one. You're welcome and thank YOU! I do it once a week. Followed by two Q-tips (or one Q-tip with two clean ends) soaked with 99% IPA for 30 seconds each. I got that from Cecilia at ProVape back in the day. Also, the inside firing pin with a long swab wet with 99% IPA for 30 seconds. That doesn't have to be, "soaked" as you want to try to avoid major dripping inside the tube and the IPA evaporates quicker. With Jackie's Radius, the plan is to do the inside one once a year when we change the battery.

An eraser for ink removal off paper gotten at an art supply store also does a fine job of cleaning the pin. It's in pencil form with a brush at one end and the eraser which can be sharpened at the other. :)

The one I have comes from Germany is called Perfection 7058B made by Faber Caqstell.

I hope this is ok here. Has anyone seen the new vape forward device? it resembles the juul. do yall think this is what vaping is going to become? the price of the device is not bad i guess, but the pods are just down right crazy. i think they said it was like 6mls for 18. wow! i read that people are just going to be using it to get their nic fix. To me vaping is more about the hand to mouth. i am sure that is why i go through so much liquid. I really should of started DIY, but could never afford to get the supplies and what i needed to keep vaping at the same time. So, anyways, do yall think provape might head in this direction too? and if so how many of you would get one?

I haven't seen one, but let me say I truly hope Provape isn't headed in this direction. I'm not sure how this would help them if the dooming regs are adopted as is. It will cost as much to get a device like this approved as it would for a Radius. I won't likely get a device like this either way. If it gets to this point, I'll have to quit vaping altogether.

Last night's Plumes of Hazard discusses all these new pod devices. Their opinion is that these are the only type of devices that will be able to pass the PMTA process. At the very least, these devices should appeal to smokers, and this is what this all is about. The rest of us should be fine.

My opinion on ProVape is they are releasing everything we wanted before the deadline, just like most other companies. While I hope for the best, I am prepared for the worst.

 Just make sure you follow up with 2 IPA soaked Q-tips (swabs) for 30 seconds each to insure removal of said Brasso...
