I guess I missed much. I see good people, people whom I happen to like a lot, opting out for some reason. I'll try to catch up tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to make the statement that it saddens me.
Because I know you all give a rat'show I feel about it.

Sorry sweetie, I have no answer. I gave up on my P3. I have it for backup purposes only. The battery thing drove me nuts. Doesn't take much though
that's just too funny!i think.... i could be wrong here... but i think the battery is old.
freshly charged it read 60%.... this morning i changed my batteries (it was still firing) but anyway, i put in fresh batteries and it read 99%... so i cycled thru my stock of aw's... and 4 were at 60% or less.
all the others were at 99%. I'm going to recharge them, and then see how they read. I am starting to think that these may very well be my original batteries bought 3 years ago.
this could also explain why i felt my original 2.5's weren't lasting very long. especially in mini size. I went on a trip to my moms. 4.5 hours away. I loaded my then two provari's in mini and standard with fresh batteries... they both went dead on the trip. and i was not chain vaping as it was snowing and weather was bad so both hands were on the wheel.
this is what's making the most since to me.
It had a chance to rest. The battery meter is not the best. On those, I just vape until it won't let me....
When the lithium battery gets to rest... When the battery is low, the voltage will climb just a bit. So the p3 is re-evaluating based on the new voltage of the battery is all.
Everyone's problem with the p3 battery meter must be based on it being "too accurate" (in this type of case at least. I'm not speaking to the sudden drop off from 50% issue folks were having on older software models).

I wouldn't personally have an i-Device without the lock on it. I did lose an iPhone once. I was able to deactivate it and never lose any of my data as I restored my backup to the new phone. I never got why people find entering a 4 digit passcode to use their phone is such a big deal........
As other's have explained, it's normal. The battery meter on a P3 is more than just a simple how much charge is left meter. It's constantly updating as you use it and once it rests, it's normal for it to go up.
I'm lazy ... dozens of times a day I have to enter my passcode ... nope. I don't even like have to swipe to get into the phone. And I tried the finger print thing too ... that was too inconsistent and I dropped that too.
I don't keep anything personal on my phone ... no SS#s, no financial info, no banking info, no cc info ... so if it's lost I'm not really exposing myself to much, other than someone will get my contacts list.
And perchance if I do lose it and an honest person finds it, they can open it find 'me' and call me. Actually that happened once in reverse. At a Renaissance Fair a couple years back I found an iPhone ... but it was locked so had no way to contact the person. Turned it in to the lost and found ... hopefully it got back to the owner.
I'm going to guess you never purchase anything via iTunes or the App Store? If you do, you'd have to have a credit card on file in your Apple ID, which BTW is stored on your iPhone. I love and use Apple Pay anywhere I can. It's more encrypted and safer than using a credit card. I also use other apps to pay for things, like at Starbucks and Paypal, etc., so security for me is paramount. There are few things that could me feel helpless, but when I lost my iPhone, it was a helpless feeling. I doubt whoever stole it ever got into it as I've always used the security lock. But it was comforting to be able to go into Find My iPhone and simply wipe, then deactivate it, making it a useless paperweight for anyone who had it.

If I used this I'd have my info set up to my other phone number. The only time I think of loosing or breaking something is when I read forum posts.

I never lost a phone and that goes back to my bag Motorola phone.
