So sorry to hear this. I just found out that I have Breast Cancer so I know where you are coming from. I am lucky that they found it early but it is still very, very scary.

(sigh)

I'm sorry, Shari. Sending POSITIVE thoughts & vibes.

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!! {{{Shari}}}

((hugs)) and prayers from a survivor !

I'm so sorry Shari. I simply cannot like this post, but I can keep you in my thoughts and prayers, with the hope they did find it early and you get through this easily. I've had a number of friends who have had great success with treatment and are completely cancer free. I know you will be as well. Yes I do!

(sigh)

I'm sorry, Shari. Sending POSITIVE thoughts & vibes.
I am trying to multi-quote all of you that responded to my breast cancer quote but I do not think I did it right. So please know you are included here and I thank you all for your support.

They caught it real early: stage 0. But I still have to have surgery, radiation and maybe chemo and drugs for 5+ years. I will be ok, once the shock is over. I wonder how much a boob weighs.... that is supposed to be me being funny. I will know more in the next couple of weeks. I want it cut out today, but that is not how it works. Just more and more doctors. But no thoughts of a cigarette so I guess I am cured of smoking. Just do not get between me and my Provari! I have mastered how to vape in the hospital. What are they going to do? Kick me out? I vape with my head under the covers. Have not been caught yet, or they are ignoring it.

Glad to hear they caught it early Shari! I know all to well the feeling that you get when they tell you that you have cancer, it is like a giant punch in the stomach and really scary at the same time. I like your attitude, when my doctor told me I said, well, cut it out of me! And they did. Right kidney gone for 20 or so years now...be strong and know that we are keeping you in our thoughts. You will beat it :)

I was thinking about getting one of those Juul set ups to be used at in opportune times.

I put my brand new Juul through its paces tonight at a concert. Since any mod/tank combo was banned from the actual venue I figured it would be the perfect chance to give it a whirl. I gotta say, it did the job it was designed to do. The ease of use is remarkable with all things considered. I give it a [emoji106][emoji106].

I've never tried a Juul, but I recently discoverd the Joyetech AIO. It's very small but is refillable and uses replaceable coils. Though you can't adjust any power levels, the thing is amazing for the hit it provides. And I literally have to feel around for it if there are other things in my pocket. I've seen it for $15 online.

Another advantage is that you can use your favorite juice. But I've seen reports that the Juul is 40-50 mg, so I don't know if the AIO can compete.

Since it's so cheap and effective, I just bought my second one. It's a "don't care much if it gets lost", stealth, backup vape. It's never going to challenge my Provari, but it adds a lot of options for not very much money.

40 to 50mg??? I couldn't survive one hit of that!

I'd read the Joyetech AIO recommended to beginners in several thread, but never checked the specs. There's 1500mAh packed into that little puppy? Amazing!

I work in a land where there are NO filters. I mean NO FILTERS of any kind. Want to vape at your desk all day? Knock yerself out. Want to watch porn? Sure, go ahead. Want to stand up and shout the F-Word at the top of your lungs. No problem! I've been here a full year now and still find it a bit odd, but at least no one tells me I can't vape. So, I bring a bunch of stuff with me and this Vape Pocket thingy will be a great daily bag for my gear. Yes it will!

I work in a bank off the main floor. The HR director told me one day I could vape in my office. I don't, however, as I know one day I'd setoff the smoke alarms, and I'd be out the door for good about the time the fire department arrived.

But I do have a argument with HR. They are starting physicals, and of course one of the tests is for nicotine. My doctor says, "I'm not a fan of nicotine, but it's (vaping) is not tobacco use." I know this is a discussion for another forum, but how in the hell can we convince the public that nicotine use is NOT the same as smoking?

I also find it interesting that while HR is testing for nicotine, it is not testing for {other stuff}. They're not as it would show several folks a the top of the food chain are loaded with the stuff.

I would also object to being tested for nicotine. I'm a headhunter, and one of my clients won't hire anyone who tests positive for nicotine and that includes nicotine from an e-cig, which I think is wrong wrong wrong. I'm stunned a bank wouldn't test for {other stuff}. Yes I am.

I work for a Fortune 500 company that does absolutely zero drug testing. Strange, but not so strange as our HQ is in Denver, Colorado. ;) They do test for tobacco for insurance purposes though.

What about wearing a nicotine patch to the test.

I don't like it either. It's slippery slope from testing and cutting one's HSA contribution by $100 to eventual termination because of nicotine or anything else.

The other thing that gets me is if your company has a fully self-funded health insurance program, then the HIPPA laws do not apply. The company can at any time review your health claims and also monitor what drugs you are taking, and all without you giving any consent or even knowing about it. You can thank Mr. Obama for that.

And we can thank Mr. Bush for voiding the fourth amendment via the Patriot Act. The police can and do break into one's house, beat the crap out of them, steal anything of value, have any medical test performed and hold one for 48 hours without food or water, etc. And the kicker is the 48 hours begins when they say it begins, not when they knock down your door. How do I know this? Because it happened to me. The cops got the wild idea I was going to kill myself, and things went downhill from there. At one point I had three attorneys and one MD trying to get me out. No luck.

The whole deal cost me $20,000+ and now, even though I committed no crime nor charged with one, I'm on every "Do Not" list from here to the moon. Welcome to the Fourth Reich!

Actually you might be surprised. They use nicotine salts in their formula. The juice feels and draws almost exactly like a Marlboro red. You can't chain chain vape it, but again you wouldn't chain vape a red either. No button to push, same draw as a regular cigarette, and all in a tiny package that will last u a full night.

So if one purchased one of these for emergency use, which coil would one buy? The 1.0 version?

The coils shipped with the kit are .5. I needed more, so I bought the .6 that a local store had on hand.

They were terrible! No matter how I tweaked the small amount of air flow adjustment, the vape was very, very hot for me. I tried a couple of the coils and they both acted the same way. So I went on the net and got some of the .5 coils - and it's back to a very good vape. I have never seen such a difference for such a small change in resistance so I must be missing something. All I can say is that it's repeatable and consistent. I can't vape at all on the .6 but the .5 are great.

Note that I have tried two handfuls of subohm tanks and didn't find a vape that I liked on any of them, so why this little AIO works so well is another mystery to me.

Sorry I didn't directly answer your question since I haven't tried the 1.0, but the .5 is definitely the only one I will use.
