I did too! Mostly to fend off any FDA silliness. I dream of a Provari Squonker though...dual 18650's, 8ml bottle, with Provape safety and reliability.
I did it because of the FDA silliness as well. I really don't want to use an unregulated. But I think it's a good idea to have a couple at least. :)

Calculating the average lifespan of a ProVari multiplied by the likelihood of ProVape being available to fix it, for a 10 year vaping stock, the result is three. Rounding it up to factor in cataclysmic weather events and ridiculous good prices, the final answer is 11.

Unless you want to be extra sure...
I've actually contemplated putting two in a safety deposit box at the bank.
...seriously. ;)

Hi E!!!!!

I'm going to throw this out here publicly, and I hope you don't mind.

Because of all your help, behind the scenes, I am getting the hang of this DIY journey.

I can actually make juice I can vape! And it's good!

You my friend, you are the MAN!!!!!

Thank you so much for your help, guidance, and patience.

"Hi, Gnees" makes me giggle! :p
Man, how did that one pass me by?

And welcome to our new compatriots.

And, it's so hard to deal with loss, and hard to express feelings of empathy without being trite and repetitive, but my best wishes are out to you RB and Enaud.

I've managed to resist stockpiling ProThingys throughout the whole Night of The Vixen/Super-Cheap 2.5s saga, but now I am seriously considering picking up an extra Five 2.5s, to supplement my current Five 2.5s, Two P3s, and Two Radii. And if ProVape is serious about closing their doors this Summer, I will be tucking a couple of extra Radii away for sure.

The only thing stopping me is it just seems excessive. I just don't think I'm going to be around long enough to wear Nine ProVari out.

My big worry now is having them confiscated by TSA while travelling, or losing them.

That wouldn't be an issue if ProVape decides to carry on, but without replacements/repairs... you see what I'm saying?

This whole FDA, save-them-from-themselves farce is just Sooo incredibly stupid and wasteful.

I have spent an absolute Crap Ton of money this month, as I'm sure we all have, one way or the other, trying to cover my bases, and let me tell you.. I am not in a good mood about it.

I overspent too, but did so in the few months before the regs thanks to the 2.5 deals I simply could not pass up. Just a few more liters of nic and some odds and ends to round it out left to get, but I already blew my 2016 vaping budget thanks to our blem buddies in Monroe, WA!

I think it's money well spent regardless what comes about. Knowing I can reach for a ProVari and get that smooth vape for as long as I am above ground is very, very satisfying.

Knowing I have enough to help a few others down the road with a good setup to stop smoking permanently feels great too. Being part of this ProVari family has reassured me that there is still a core group of generous helpful vapers and that is priceless.

I hear you - I've spent more in the last few weeks than I ever have before. I have always been a frugal vaper - one mod and tank with a few extra coils at a time. I started DIYing shortly into my vaping journey, and have lived on a single 50w istick and eleaf lemo ii for over a year now. My OH was really supportive a few weeks ago when I asked him if he'd heard of the FDA regulations, and he said "Well, you'd better start stocking up!"

I almost fell off the couch!! This really seemed like my green light. I was waiting for the right special to come up, because that full-price procyon sureeee looks nice!

I DIY as gifts for a few friends, but now I feel an urgent need to help them out. My boss uses a mini nauti and a 30w istick, and I can't just help feeling like she's going to pick up the analogs again when this stuff all comes into play. The least I can do right now is the juice, because none of us have extra cash (she supports a couple of her adult children). I would love to gift her a provari, but I don't know how she'd do with the batteries...I guess when it comes down to it, I know she'd rather vape than smoke, so it might be worth it if she takes one small step at a time.

There are just so many variables and unknowns, I'll probably order a few mechs and read way up on them before I try them out. I don't want to smoke, or anyone for that matter. I hate that everything is about the bottom line.

Our lives may not matter to *them*, but they matter to us! Vape on!

(typed after a 12 hour workday - sorry)

Thanks to the blem sales I am set on mods and I have been stocking up on rebuildable tanks as well! Now the diy juice is another story! I have been reading alot about diy but I still haven't made the move to buy some nic base because I am not sure what will work best for me!
My main concern is will there be someone around in case my mods need repairs. I know that I can probably find folks to help repair my REOs but I have really moved over to my Provaris 90% of the time!
Mr. Chili has been very supportive of my stockpiling because he doesn't ever want to see me with another cigarette and I am thankful that he understands!

Forget a garden club, we need a vape club! I can just see my kitchen with counter to counter crock pots of juice recipes going! I can see Mr.Chili lifting the crock pot tops expecting dinner of some sort
