Vets held up their end of the deal. We, as a society, have not. Shameful IMHO.
Hear, hear, we hear! According to the CDC, the US (example of regular population survey);
there's about 53million+ living with disabilities.

This may get bumped (off topic for prochat?) but I see posts like WhiteHighlights and my ire gets fired.
With the outrageous grievances revealed in VA care lately, its had some public awareness...but for the rest? the Kids, the non VA Adults and Seniors?...ARGH!
As vapers, and as ProVari fans..I'm naturally presuming members here have a conscious direction toward wellness and toward quality. Such dichotomy to see the above post by WhiteHighlights.
My point=simply you dont necessarily have to lay your life down for your country to be deserving of decent health care, free from untreated disability.
Our society must make it right and possible for old people not to fear the young or be deserted by them, for the test of a civilization is the way that it cares for its helpless members.
